Walker OOG 10.9.0 WORKS AGAIN!!

u should get a pop-up window with the protocol version.

do u know how to get in dos promt?
iff so try this
C:\program files\lineage2\system\l2.exe -L2ProtocolVersion

(i put the lineage2 folder in default location, i dunno were u planted it)
u should get the pop-up window then.

so the thing u do is launch the l2.exe with this -L2ProtocolVersion so he do something different then executing L2.exe normaly. Do u understand what happens here?
Iff your l2.exe is called l2j.exe then make the bat file like this.

edit Lineage2.bat
l2.exe -L2ProtocolVersion
save it in lineage2\system folder and run it
the bold part has to be your l2.exe or soemthing that executes Lineage2

well i did as you wrote but no popup still, maybe there is another way to get it ? (btw i thought it is 746 but probably im wrong)

tried another way with custom builded l2serverselector 2.5 i managed to go till there:

maybe someone knows how to fix this packet error as i tried to connect with 10.8.6 walker (10.9.0 didnt patch) I would be grateful :)

well now found real protocol version (it was 737) but erf, another error:

tried to connect with method listed there and got error as before changing protocol (now i use true one 737)

i have seen the Character timeout error before.

U didn't try to install the loopback adapter and the TCPTunnel right?
try to use them now and try again. I think it will be solved then (not sure) i will look for u on another forum also.

well i installed microsoft loopback and tcptunnel, but then i get error login server failed as before i got protocol version, im not sure what to do now as all i get is only errors, btw thank you for your answers :)

ok uninstall the loopback adapter and the tunnel again. Because u know what happent to me this morning?

i logged out my bots
Started client
moved 1 of my bots to another location
tryed to login again and..... BOOM!

just like you (iam on my work now so i copied yours)
i closed the programm and started it up again (no reboot of my comp)
walker started again (with the use of crk)
i loaded the charater.INI file
filled in my login info
logged in....
and it worked again

so i didn't change anything just restart the app.

well, now tried to do so: runed crk + WP 5.07 + walker 10.8.6 + TCP tunnel and uninstalled Loopback. And now i managed to go till there:

i would try just to run crk and walker. No other stuff (no tunnel, no loopback, no nothing just oog walker 10.9.0 and crk) even turn off firewall for once to check iff it helps.

well nikolayyyyy i check it out. i didn't pay and i think iam not going to also. Because iff u look at the amount of post and views. Its way lower then here so less ppl is most of the time less change on a solution (i bet u seen the 10.9.1 CT1 Hellbound oog). i bet its a question of one of the members.

@hatefree: u just have to adjust the IP adres and the Protocol version in SET.INI. Look in this treat iff u wanna know more about this (its there!).
