btw
i found something
when using this tuto above
i concluded that carslotxml file notes only the car that you have bought in offline version of nfsw only and doesnt note the cars that we have bought in online version before the update of nfsw offline (wich we can buy IGC cars) i mean its last update
and its happened with me today
for example tried to add SB bodykits to M3E30 and AE86 but couldnt find them in carslotsxml because i bought them in online version of nfsw since one or 2 years
and after rebuying the E30 and AE86 in offline version then reopening the carslotxml i found those vehicules

so i hope berkay and his team of coders and testers will take this thing in consideration
Oh they are there, you just need to find them, which is a bit hard if you have a lot of cars.

But here's a trick for you to find cars that you own that are from the online version:
Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
and look for your car there.

Say you want the M3 E30, that would be:[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Now notice that by the end of the link theres a bunch of numbers, 1816135725, that is the ID for the car in the xml file, so search for it and you should find.

If you had more than one of these then keep in mind that the xml is in by purchase order, so the first number that appears when you search it should be the first E30 you bought, if you click search next it will give the second one and so it goes.

You can find the parts in www/nfsw/Engine.svc/catalog. For example if you want a bodykit then open productsInCategory_STORE_VANITY_BODYKIT. And then you have to search for your car and choose the desired bodykit. Now copy the hash code of the kit.

Now put this in carslots.xml (the red part is where the copied hash goes):

The blue part is the hash of the "slot".
Some visual part slot codes:
lowering kit: <SlotHash>-2126743923</SlotHash>
rim: <SlotHash>-1505530948</SlotHash>
bodykit: <SlotHash>-966088147</SlotHash>
spoiler: <SlotHash>-918850563</SlotHash>
hood: <SlotHash>1490249</SlotHash>

I made a few cars with this method :) [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
I can't code them. They don't appear on my cars.
Maybe a video can help, if you have time, can you please make a video?

Oh la la, very nice :) 10/10 BTW if someone want to make permanent changes(like me), because like one setup of aftermarket just find car in basket folder and edit. Note that you will buy then non stock version, but modded, even if it appears stock in shop.

you can also put performance parts and skillmods on other cars with the same method, and you go to carslots.xml (NOT the one in your driver folder in the same directory, but the one that has the files baskets.xml, defaultcar.xml, and carslots.xml)

will it be possible to have an option of traffic or no traffic someday?

Hmm, so I got into the hype from some players talking about this on another forum. At first, I didn't want to register here, I have to be honest, but, well, I got a problem with this. I installed everything fine, then the game worked, I closed it and now, each time I open it, it crash and I get this message: SERVERERROR_FATAL_ERRORCODE_13.

If somewhere in all those 95 page someone did answer how to fix this, could you just tell me on which page the answer to fixing this error is. I've read from page 95 to 61, saw a lot of people taking about getting this error too, but not getting answered, so I guess it was answered somewhere and people are tired of answering it. Anyway, thank for any good souls who would/will help me! ^^

Also, berkley I wish you all the luck you need to work on all of this and to hopefully pull this project thru to the end. Also, thanks for this. I had stopped playing after they had removed the chat, but now, seeing someone willing to make this game work correctly, even if offline, is really great! Keep up the good work! ^^
