I have worked out all issues sry for post.

Well I somehow managed to get connected to server... but now i have another problem when I log on i get DCed after a few seconds any ideas anyone ?

If you truly want to run a server you will need to study and learn what you are dealing with.
We don't need 1000 servers out there run by people who don't really know what they are doing.
We need dedicated people looking to enhance and enjoy the Shaiya community.

I just want to say thank you so much for this tutorial. it helped me a lot.
i also ave a question. When i try to log in to the server it lets me i can even put the username and pass in but after i select the world it says cannot connect to world. any ideas?

yes i know alot asked about it. but i still can't.

i have tried changing ip and all i can think off. turned off UCA(to low in windows 7). turn off windows firewall, adding the game.exe to the windows firewall.

still i can't get in.

is there anyting i can do?

I noticed your virus scanner....you will probably find missing files in your quarantined area and will have to add c:\ShaiyaServer to the ignore list. Also try re-editing a fresh game.exe, it sounds like you did something wrong in the hex editing.

your public needs to be your network address for example 192.168.???.???
find that out by typing in start button cmd, right click it and run as admin, and type ipconfig, hit enter key. scroll up to ipv4 address and it will be there.

mailed you. but i even tried tha normal ip 192.168xxxxx stuff. but it was something realy wrong with my sql i'm sure, so i reinstalled and everything is great. even worked with 127.0.0.1 on all:-P

The theme is actually windows Classic available in windows XP, Vista, 7 and Server versions of windows
I always runs servers with classic view as i want to turn off any and all unnecessary running programs that will take resources away from the server applications.

i'm not that great in sql. but i know IIS, and normal servers so i should have the basic checked. but i just need some help starting up in sql.
