[GUIDE].c3 files creating

How do i import .c3? it lets me export but not import.....help?

I guess that's not that weird since it's an exporter only ^^

There's an importer somewhere, but it's not public at all and i have no informations on this one

Why would you guys even want to import old weapons?

Just doesn't make any sense to me.

Anyways, I've imported some, but simply just to try it out,

but I didn't really find it any useful at all in the end, lol

It's basically useless if you wanna make new weapons.

The only way i'd be interested by that importer, would be to import some effects, since custom ones made from scratch on 3ds wont work in-game
But yea guys importing weapons is useless + it'd break the uvw = no textures

whats the diff between .c3 and .dds and how do i make .dds?

.dds is a file extension which contains a texture that is used to wrap around a 3D model.

.c3 is a file extension which contains a 3D model.


You make a .dds file by installing the dds plugin for either photoshop or gimp.

I also have the 2010 version and cant seem to find a compatible plugin :(

yes and now i have 3ds max 5 and it stops responding as soon as i open it after i put the lugins in it, its saying somethign about a combust
