This is NOT a application anymore but a PERSONAL FLAME WAR against me
go ahead and read other topics about other members applications, you will notice that ppl will post a clean YES or NO and some info why not

in this application iam being attacked for no reason at all
they only give me a NO for "spamming" well ... we have been through this over and over again, its to "protect" spamming in report system
so again, i want to apply for mod so i dont have to post "reported ..."

i dont understand why they flame me if they get reported, .... if you read the rules you will read: no double posting if you dont follow the rules you will be reported, its as easy as that

if you dont like that rules you can do 2 things, either way ...

1. You can logout and never come back to this board.
2. You can post a complaint in the "complaint" section

Guardians are here to make sure everyone it following the rules, if you dont .. you will be reported for breaking the rules, dont be pissed off at me for you making a mistake

I know you from way long time ago.
You'll help anyone in need, and had some really helpful posts.

you talk about us breaking the rules i thought there was a rule against profanity? or am i mistaken? or is there an exception for guardians

Pissed off means angry, he did not say that someone is pissed on...please do not draw words out of context like this....it does not help you or anyone else.

Lmao your explaining English to an English person, the context it was used in was getting Angry at someone and is still against the rules for profanity, context doesn't change the word the word changes the context

On that note, ima go ahead and say no. your always in the mabinogi section reporting people as spam when there comments are actually helpful, and you reported someone for posting in wrong section when it was in fact the right one which leads that your lack of detail in simple things might make you a bad moderator

It is still a valid reason for people to not want you to be a moderator, is it not? It's other user's right to express their opinions about your actions. Whether you think they are right or wrong. You posted an application in public. You should be prepared to accept criticisms, constructive and unconstructive. If you can not handle criticisms, what makes you suitable to be moderating a forum of users?

No it is profanity and that is that, if e*pvp would punish every person for any word that could possibly be rude or faul in any way then E*pvp would not have members. Once again, do not make up problems where there arent any, if you whish to make a "case" against him them by all means do so, but do it properly and do not embaress yourself with drawing non faul words out of context to make them look faul.....

The ones that should be embarassed here are you are exactly the ones who don't understand what are our posts all about.

Let me break it down for you, the way I would try to explain it to a 9 year old kid.

He posted an application applying for a moderator position.
I answered no, and clearly stated and explained my REJECTION.
Instead, he took my post as an INSULT (too bad), and refers me to go to Complaint section (which is forr complaints against STAFF members only BTW) to complain?
Like hold on right there... WOOOOOOOOOOOOW LOL!!!
Then as he couldn't hold up and keep up with all the critics he gets, he starts telling us to restrain from 'double posting' (which is ridiculous because we are having a decent discussion which could be not solved in one post since obviously one of us has a less of a developed brain to understand certain things, could be me as well, you never know).

So basically what he is saying is that if we do NOT post YES, any other opinion would be considered rather as inappropriate and shall be reported as double post (if the discussion develops to the point where you start explaining him further your first post, which is what exactly happened in this case).

Now let me jump to something that really made me burst out laughing.

I made this post mainly ,because of 'reported at ...' posts.
All the arguments in this thread concerning this issue are valid in my view,but I believe we have to not think only about Moderators.Indeed those posts may reduce double reports ,which is good for us,moderators,but they also fill the board with useless posts that a new user,that has found an entry by Bing or Google, would not like to see 90% of the threads containing 'Reported at ...'.This is not what a user would want to find,not something he would find useful.
The contents in Elitepvpers are Elitepvper's face.We have to keep that face clean!
Thereby I prefer having 50 entries in ModFe and lose 5 minutes more, but keep the threads off such posts.Rememer - to not render double reports on one page of reports is physically possible and doable,but removing 'reported at' and '#reported' posts will take very long period.

Your application - janvier123,you are active,you have motivation,but I remember a complaint in 'the complain area' ,in which you linked to a thread,in which you responded bad to criticism.I stay neutral on your application, but I ensure you if I see that change in you,my vote will be very much positive! :)

I do, you're trying to brake down his application by drawing words out of context which I find somewhat pathetic. @DoubleDTheGreat do not insult my inteligence, you of all people should start watching what you say, insulting a moderator is not one of the smart things to do. You applied for a moderator some time ago, promissing to change, saying that 30 expired infractions should be forgoten.....well here you are with a fail application and an active infraction. You're right, it's not all about how much thanks you have, it's how you present yourself (that is your line ;)) and you present yourself badly.

As I said, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so If most of you whish to reject him then do so, I can not do anything about it, but do it the proper way, that means not drawing words out of context in order to try to get someone in trouble.

Yet again i state, how are the words being taken out of context? He meant them in an angry way so i don't see how you see us taking them out of context.
