Okey, I prefer the VGN servers to be clean, but anyways, now the original NosTale has been updated and I cannot get it to work. I have tried with NostaleClient.exe But it seems to execute normally without noshook. And with NostaleClientX.exe simply wait 10 seconds and error. I think NosHook needs an update or I'm doing something wrong. Anyone know?

The error: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Okey, I have found the solution:

Copy paste the NostaleClientX.exe and change her name to NostaleX.dat and select the NostaleX.dat in NosHook. If NostaleX doesn't change to extension .dat, in explorer on tab "View" you can activate the "extension of name of archive" or something like this (I'm spanish) to convert it in .dat. It works with VGN and other p-servers, simply do that in the no patcher exe (the exe of the main game).

Updated to work with the latest game client. New download required from here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Just replace your old NosHook.exe and it will auto-update the rest when you launch it again.

Long as you point it to the proper exe/dat to launch it should work with Steams version. I doubt the game is any different on Steam than the regular non-Steam client.

it was working but the way steam login to nostale has no user/password window prompt.. i can see it was working on the account that was registered to gameforge wherein you will key in this credentials for you to be able to login and select channel..

steam version is kinda tricky,

did you use the startup parameter "steam"?
Having no issues opening the game with noshook.

Do you mean i will add the steam.exe on the target file?
I tried last time, steam open up, ran nostale but nothing happen.. :(

Make sure you installed everything listed in the readme that is required.

Outside of that make sure that:
- That you are running the injector as admin. (Right-click > Run as Administrator)
- The correct game exe/dat file is selected to inject into.
- All required files are installed. (As you said you did.)
- Ensure that your anti-virus/firewall are not interfering with NosHook.

Antivirus disabled
Injector running as admin
I tried to select Nostale.exe Nostaleclient.exe Nostaleclientx.exe even MultiClient.exe and still same problem, when i open processes i can see when i press "Play" there is opened a game process and after 5 seconds is closed.

Can i somehow else injct NosHook.dll, or it need to be your injector

Make sure you are using the newer launcher that was revised for the updated game:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

If you are unsure of the defaults to use, go into the config folder and delete the noshook.xml.
It will recreate it the next time you open the launcher.

Other injectors can be used as long as they can call exported functions in the dll. NosHook.dll must be "installed" after injection by having the injector call the "Install" export.
