For now i think it will be better to find a new place for emulators in our reality.

Emulators wont be used by peoples who want to make global servers because vsro will be always better for this. Current emulator audience is a people who wants to play with friends on lan to have some fun. For that peoples emulator on mobile devices may be a "way to go". Also that emulator may be a nice way to learn and having fun for new java developers(programmable extensions). Thats how i see silkroad emulators future for now.

If here there aren't so many posts then you should know that there is no point in making an emulator for mobile devices.
I have chosen an answer "senseless, i just dont see it."

Another reason for 'not many posts' is because users don't tend to post in something which helps contribute to the sro scene, but then complain when nothing is being added and It's dying

What about to make, vsro files for mobiles, maybe just for tablets,if u have a strong tablet/mobile you can host your own server(ofc u need internet,wi-fi is the solution).

If I remember well, with samsung S4, you can make a "VM" on your mobile phone, and then host on it, but I think it's better to buy a server, it's cheapper ^^'

In no way will a tablet or smart phone be capable of hosting a server. It does not have the processing power for it. Not to mention most devices have around 1gb of ram some have 2 and its usually ddr2 which is quite slow. It's not going to go down well but end of the day I guess it will be a great opportunity to learn new things and will be a nice way to spend your time.

Sir, sir! You just made my day. Server emulator for mobile devices!
What can possible go wrong?
- High latency?
- Not enough processing power? (Networking, Collisions... and shitload of different stuff)
- Not enough ram? (All those maps... and other shit)

The most important question is: What for?

Not to mention you wont do it anyway : )

About that.
VSRO will be always better for global servers? Yyy?
You can do epic things with emu (obviously you need a bunch of good coders for that). Not to mention, vsro server files are bugged as shit. It's possible to make a server emulator for ppl who wants to play with friends on lan but it won't be lightweight and obviously wont work on mobile devices.
There is no silkroad emulators feature. Is there any server emulator in development right now? I don't think so.
