@Muliebrity it seems that you are getting the point of games haha. Ofcourse you can't bring balance.. It will never be possible to make every single player happy.. Also private servers are made usually by players of the game to make it look like the way they wanted it to be. Like.. seems some people are not happy with the Old Job System (won't even talk about the new one..) so they start to customize it and later put it on public so people can enjoy it too if they like it. About donation.. tell me in 21st century where you can see someone paying for something without getting anything ?

Never saw an server without the "Donate" Option some where in there or at some point in its time :)

Show me a server that has no option for that , and I know that the one having that server needs to pay himself for it , didn't see such a guy out there.

there is a big difference between a donate option (with a balanced cash shop) and a pserver selling seal of sun +8 weapons for 50$. There is no point in paying the server bills yourself, as this is quite impossible and would endanger the server's stability (if the person can't pay the bill anymore, it's going offline)

I have no issues with a balanced cash shop (like we did on venture), yet people don't seem to mind that servers actually sell weapons :confused:

Joymax does have it in another way, pay silks.

The donate idea from the beginning is wrong..

Which means you wont take anything in-back for your donation process. while you're taking the advantage of your payment by being charged with silks to kral in-game. Even it cant be called contribution.. only charge for xx is the availiable shit in this case.

Also its a project anyway, there's no server owner is running his server just because he wants to get some fun.. it might be his own resource to live his life. and I know some people are suffering this way or another.

Capped online ,its closed by now ofcourse but there was that kind of server , everything was free (Silk items ,most of em were able to gain by gold in game at shops and some coins if im not mistaken) , and few avatars were in item mall (silk was free)
