ETA for a test-server (pvp-server) release is the night (EST time zone) of Wednesday (July 11th) host will be in U.S. - Miami (East-coast) -- this may change later on (but we're never going to an EU server; if by some chance we ever grow to the extent of over load a second server will be purchased which is EU).
Forums should be up and running either on Tuesday, or during the day of July 11th.
Minor details about test/pvp server --
Items will be capped at +9
Yes, we will have revivers in PKA/Jail like there was in HCO
No, we are not using the old jumps
Stamina system is the same as PMCO (ACO v1 -- You don't lost stamina when you get hit sitting)
FB/SS "angles" are the same as PMCO (ACO v1)
Nobility will be based off kills in tournaments (no real benefit)
Tournaments will be hosted by staff it will not be automatic
There wont be many GMs -- possibly 1 or 2 (don't ask to be one)
Higher tier potions (i.e. life fruit, etc.) will not be implemented
Monk/Pirate skills will not be available (However, Pirate's BladeTempest skill will be, as well as Radiant Palm).
Damage of Radiant Palm / Twofold Blade will be heavily nerfed
Damage of SS/FB reduced to 90% (currently 130% on retail CO, it use to be 90% back on PMCO)
Damage of Hercules reduced to 33% (as was during when Lottery first came out on retail CO)
We're still debating whether to level-cap at 130 (meaning the 130/+ items aren't available) -- I will likely make a poll for this later, or discuss it with veteran players
Minor test results in regards to test/pvp server --
With a full +9 character with standard equipment it requires a 2-chain to kill (using Stigma may one-hit if the opposition has a mana-pool as well) -- This is typically the same of what was seen on QO, ACO, and HCO
We have not ran any tests with the higher tier (130/+) items in regards to damage yet.
