Hey guys, I just need little help. I got everything work but can anyone tell me how I can make jpeg into .tex texture?

Convert it to .png and use the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to open it. Choose Export to .tex to save it in the right format =)

Hi guys, I am having issue with bow weapons, the weapon doesn't move at all when I attack it stays still like it its just model with no function. Please help, Thanks.

When u look at the things that are in the file.
There u see these joints, Bone01 Bone02 etc
These joints tell where the model can animate.

Open a different weapon
Click Character -> Weight Tool
And when that is opened click on the different bones u see.
U will notice that the model on the screen turns black and every bone u click another part of the model turns white.

Now u can just go to the model and start painting it white where u want it to animate.

There are examples enough on where to paint the weights on each model as every mesh has it. It can be a bit tricky at first but u will get the hang of it after a while :)

As for bow you can also load hw.bs (skeleton) and delete all unnecessary joints (of course you should keep hierarchy). You should leave Bone03, 05, 06, 19, 20, 43, 44, 45 and 04. Then file->merge and open your new model. Select all objects on scene and Character->Bind. Now you dont have to worry about weights. But I would also recommend to select Weight Tag (from your object) and on Joint Tab delete Bone04, Bone20, and Bone46 - they are not needed anymore.

One more note: new chaoskit has small bug. When you open skeleton - first joint Bip01 is rotated. You have to select it and set rotation PHB to 0 (bottom of the screen).

U can make the textures by dragging a material on the mesh.
U will see a new tag behind the name of the mesh.
Select that tag and go to Render -> Bake texture and u will get to the options for making the texture file.

Ofcourse this is not what i did, but this is the fastest way for how far i know Cinema4D (and i don't know much about C4d at all!)

What i did for those weapons is just use the textures that perfect world uses.
They are simple .dds files, just convert them to .tga with photoshop and then with the textool convert them to .tex u could also use .png but somehow .tga feels closer related

Hi hoostler, im trying to edit a char, it's alredy edited but it looks like an object. (doesnt move its joints)

How can I make him move like a normal titan or other char?

Select your object and all joints on the objects list and select Bind from Character menu.

Now your object is binded to joints. But it still require some manual fixes with Weight Tool.

Watch this. Maybe this will help you. You can rewind to 8:20
