Ok guys i've news, for now the Developpement of the online Gamehas been slow down alot for a unknow time, but don't worry it's not because online is suspended that the dev global is suspended ! no no ! :D
I work hard on the Original One offline though but with lot of game play inside !
Some work i've done are :
- On the BonusMap, they are 3 waves on the bonus map each with different Npc. all wave of Npc work as It should, each Npc has a own path to the player and looks "clever" that mean, that each npc will found a way to get to you, fast and avoid obstacle like player do it.
- Sound : For the Sound, i've added a backgroud ambient Music not from seafight ( even if i have it) but from natural sea effect with wind on it ... it seems better than original one i find :), I've added 3D sound too, it's not implemented on all sound but it is inside the Code, for those who don't know what 3D sound is, Imagine, that you are in the boat and it's a way to play sound very realistic, for example, if you shoot npc at left, you will hear sound at left speaker, and with a certain maximum distance, if you are too away, you will hear the effect less louder. it's very cool to increase the realistic of the game !
-GamePlay in General : Now when player don't find a path, it simply draw a red marker like the original seafight, I began to add a little menu when you click on ammo to display available ammo, and number of it, and when you click on that ammo it will select it, for the moment the pressing of the button ammo display just a image with the chainball ammo and the background and the number of this ammo, it's very experimental, but i'm on a good way i think :) btw, A major issue has been solver about the hud and the seachart, now it correctly recognise where the user has clicked, if clicked on the seafight, it doing the path, but if clicked on the button on the action bar, like shoot or ammo, it detect that is a hud controller and do not found the path, :)
Now the ship isn't Elite21 but the ship of the BlackBeard Pirate for more realism and gameplay ! and i've removed the Npc Behemoth on the map, and replaced with Npc blackbeard pirate and Wild13 for now, and removed the island too!
The coordinate info has been moved just above the minimap and centered
The map size has changed : from 7500 * 7500 to 10000 * 10000
The Npc AI has been a little more clever,it take more time before searching another path but , I will have to find a solution when path can't been found, instead of waiting to find a next path, i will just restart the searching path function!
and so on bug fixed ...
So for now i think release offline version for a moment until i will have the time to correctly understand how multiplayer work and do something basic like Npc and shooting but for now you will find a offline one with a bunch of new feature and upcoming feature that you will forget online for the moment ^^
