Auto walk feature explanation:
Feature Name:
Auto-Walk
What it does:
People who have been GMs in the past know the command called /wp.
/WP allows you to TELEPORT to any position that you saved before.
How to save positions? Easy: /Addwp NameOfPositionHere
So what does this have to do with normal players?
Simple. /saveposition NameOfPositionHere
Then: /walk NameOfPositionHere
You character starts walking there using the shortest route. Automatically. SBot like :)
This has more reasons like pathfinding for monsters, trade events, and so on.
I'm not going in detail on what we will be using it for in future, but just so you know. You'll also be getting this now.
It's one of those things people call "useless". To be honest, it's awesome, since you can (probably) even create your mbot scripts with it.
Yet again, earnest innovation. We'll keep on working on new features until we're done with everything that we can come up with.
When exactly these get patched to Elamidas? Well, I cannot tell you yet, since we still haven't fixed up a few essential things and haven't tested it out completely.
Maybe we'll create Battle of Infinity as well. (Google it: Battle of Infinity Silkroad)
There are tons of things coming up, and we just want to develop it in the best way, without being pressurized by players about server things.
I've received over a 100 "Where is Elamidas 2?" questions so far, tired of it. So let me explain that as well.
Where is Elamidas 2?
When we opened Elamidas, we told you that its our last server. At least its MY last server, don't know if LastThief, BlackPoint, Simulation etc. will still stay there.
I don't really want to open another server, got fed up with the players already. Why open a server that lasts half a year max. I don't see a point in doing that.
You guys were the ones leaving, do you think server owners will keep running for you? I'm not. So if you want me personally to do another server, you've gotta convince me there.
You'll have to understand that you won't be getting active ingame game masters. We have auto-events that work properly. You don't need a GM for that. About LMS & FFA. I'll be making it un-cheatable, the job anti cheat will also be incredibly improved, since we built an partial emulator, we can do quite a LOT of things now. Almost complete control over the game. (Almost)
So yeah, you'll have to change your attitude if you seriously want a server from me ever again. Nobody's gonna work for this shit.
However, a huge thanks to the 500 players that we still have on Elamidas. I actually didn't expect that many people to stay after I've stopped investing all my time into the game. But hey, it seems like SOME people understand that every other server out there sucks bricks. Yes, every single one :)
Aand I'm back to work. Auto-Walk has to be finished up quickly.
