It's not considered spam to criticize someone in their application thread. That's the whole reason of this thread, to allow others express their opinions about the applicant.

Imo. I say no... Jan comes into the Mabinogi section and has reported a lot of stuff that should have not been reported as spam and then tells users who do not meet requirements for moderator applications to make her go away to go apply for moderator status. Then says no to someone who meets the requirements for said applications for the reason

Not realy, votes in the application may boost the chance to get the mod possition but the actual decision is only on admins. The user can have 500 "no" votes and still become a moderator if he fits the possition.

If they didn't pay attention to rejections for applications by members, they would have made this section private just like they made the complaint area.

You have the title "I post to much" which makes me assume you spend all your time on the forums, and people who forum all day get really grumpy.

Oh and you let the votes on other mod applications blur your own vote, meaning you go a long with the crowd. I surely do not want you on one of my sites when they're like BAN BAN BAN! You'll probably be like "omg... need 2 be lieked".

To be very honest with you English grammar doesn't have to be on top to be a good moderator, Janvier is from Belgium, we speak Dutch here not English, second of all he is spending alot time here to help the community. If you have nothing else so say here with your 38 thanks recieved, stay out of here.

In my opinion that isn't good, because you get all your thanks for one thing you did, means you don't help constantly. And when you started to report at ~1500 Posts then were of your last 300 posts 230 "reported because bla at bla:bla" posts.

It's obvious janvier is very unliked around here, keep answering to every rejection tho, you both make this thread very interesting with your obvious supportive friend protection posts lol!!

Oh and, thanks count don't necessarily mean he is LIKED by the community, he may contribute but still remain hated, which is the case here.
