I have a friend that knows some sort of socket method, in fact, he was full soc in 2 weeks. His trick involved nothing but mets from the blue mouse quest, that's all he would tell me. Do you think that maybe the mets from the blue mouse quest are better for socs, just as the various mets are better for upgrading?

umm 1 have 1 more theory me n my friend we have pker archer u might think it sucks) but if u pk some1 then rapidly click scatter there is 35% more chance of getting a met.
Weve done it several times and it gives u about that chance.

its fucking pissed me off and all other ppls how to it!?!? i got 1 fukin socket in my necky and thats all, i waste allready tousands of mets , and iam really tired i maybe quit this fukin game, when i dont get socks anymore, iam tired to do all the time the same.. i got mets from bluemouse too!!

u really need to figure out the fucking trick..

look, some may say that his theories are wrong or just stupid, take a look at what i gota say. months i mined with the same character at mz and got squat, 2 days ago i took 2 of my accounts and stacked them on the same map mining together, like he said, the generator splits between the characters on the map, i got a sdg on one of the character, and it was the one i was mining wit for a month, all i can say is, it works. another incident today, i was mining witha buddy in the same map in mz for the night, in the morning he says he didnt get anything, while i got a spg, coincidence? i think not

I really wish that we could get some actual programmers talking on this thread... All I have to say about the original post is this... About the each item has its own specific code (certian mets have better luck) thing. This is incorrect they all have the same packet however, moonboxs used to have seprate codes on them and a few bright people figured out a which ones had sockets in them. TQ quickly changed that. Keep in mind that even if the (lucky met code) is totally server side and it is based on where the met came from.... the server would have no way of distinquising which met in your inventory you are trying to send as its the same code for all of them.... Sorry but your cool idea is probably incorrect and it really seems like way more programming for TQ instead of just typing [randomize(time)]

And the theory of each character beeing born with a luck factor has to be wrong. Why would any programmers put that into a game? There is no logic at all behind that.

But several of your theories appear correct, but not all of them!

I believe that when there are less people on map you get better hunts. I realised that hunting directly after Server Mainteance.
And one of my teories that mobs that you are suposed to level on gives you better items because when I level my tao he gets almost same hunt in less mobs killed than when I hunt with my archer at 40+ levels lower mobs spawn.

Anyone else noticed this?

And what about that teory about spaming mets at same time for sockets... anyone tryed it yet?

I actually believe this post, I'd always hunt at wing snakes. I get tons of meteors there. I'd always use the meteors on my bow at TC, I would always get it to upgrade. But one time I was in need of a meteor, so I went to the market and bought one. I used the meteor at TC with the bow, and it failed. So I went hunting at snakes I used 1 met for one last try, and if it didnt work I was gonna plan to go to market to upgrade it. It worked! But from that day on I still went to market.

well... this is my first post... thought i would contribute something... i usually hunt around 11-1:00 am server time... and i've gotten 3 supers in a week at the apes... i believe that the time based thing is true... alse... when i get a met... i jump around and get mets at the other spawns around me in a couple of mins... well... thought this would help... thx for the theories eistien
