Easy way to upgrade in TC with mets

As soulsolution pointed out in a previous post, once you successfully upgrade it, the item's full durability is restored.

For anyone who doesnt believe this here are my results:

lvl 52 super +2 coro
broke dura twice upgraded in 3 mets
Used like 20 mets before breaking dura and it didnt upgrade

next lvl broke dura again twice
upgraded with 5 mets


Though it may seem like it takes a long time it really doesnt. Easy way to do it if yr lazy is go to a big mob place where you get 1 dmg and if you use CO let it dc you when at 5 dura.

Then log back in and watch it go to 0dura (like 5 - 10 mins) and just teleport when 0 to repair. You never have to wait long cuase most of it is done without you there. You gotta just wait (hard to do isnt it :)


Also on a sidenote, i couldnt believe how many posted stupid questions without reading the massive 5 pages of post. Before asking any stupid questions research yr self.

so yes this can work and will normally help you save money and mets

and yes yr dura IS back to full once upgraded!!!!

man i've done this. it never worked and i risked losing my armor. well i already said it in my previous post on the other page.

this doesnt work you can add a met to level it durability goes down by half everytime just dont repair but then you items weaker with this trick so repair it i used 12 mets on my bow elite's have a higher need for mets then say a unique takes 1-3 mets and dont believe me but try uping ref,unique with a met or 2 you will go to 120 with out flaw and when ou go to elite you have crazy mets to up an item and super its like clue guess who killed who with what as for your systems hahaha and this crackhead way to level gear hahahahahaits pathedic i have heard people buying met scrolls and taking items and leveling them from 10-130 just to get a socketed ring or boots and selling them for 100 kk's good luck on all that tho

I have a tro super armor at lvl 100, already at 28 max dura from failed upgrades.
I just tried to upgrade, and failed again, so down to half dura out of 28. I am off to make it go to 0/28.
Once I reach zero, I will repair and try one met at TC right? Or should I repair few times, and spend a few more mets trying to upgrade, or is that up to me how many I will try?
Or
Should I just try the one met, and then go off to get my armor back down to 0/28 (if my max dura has not already fallen from 28 from my attempt at upgrading to 110)

That is my question, once I reach 0/28 again, does it matter how many mets I try to use, or should I just use one, and do the process over again each time.

What kind of problems can I expect if I try this more then 2 times? It was mention on earlier posts. I know the max dura will reset once it does upgrade.

for god sakes, study punctuation.

well from what i know if u break dura after the item is upgraded u don`t get ful dura back u need to use the GodlyArtisan NPC to get the item to it`s max dura back and on high lvl sup items that will cost u too much (a elite dex ring lvl 103 that had 30 dura cost me abt 2kk to bring it to max dura) so my opinion is just up it in market alot safer and cheaper. But it`s youre choice if to up it like the threadstarter sad or up it in mkt
