If you want I can post the original files here ;)

EDIT:
I'm gonna take myself a go at merging your Korean Translation + Europe's British English translation with Taiwan files. I noticed the Vella new skills and a few items are missing their descriptions and names completely on this file from Berakottur. I might get some luck and fix it or perhaps fail trying

Also for china translation maybe basing on european version might help, since both are XE, just a guess tho.
Oh awesome :D I like seeing a small team slowly coming together for each region.

But I have something for you guys. This may be slightly on the risky side BUT here is a [Only registered and activated users can see links. Be sure to keep a backup just in case unless you guys have Google Accounts then I can restrict it that way and just add you guys to the list.

Here I provide a simple translation, quite incomplete but, however, no lines are missing (unlike Berakottur's), which means its more stable.

This one was made by simply copying all strings from european english file and then adding all the missing strings that europe has (since europe is behind in game patches) directly from taiwan's file.

This should be a decent and fresh base to start from. Apparently Europe's file has also Premiere skills translated (even tho europe is XE). I saw this by surprisingly seeing the Premiere versions of Vella skills were translated like if it was the US client, and not like if it was the Europe's client (fyi, Vella skills have very different english translations on both EU and US, so it was highly noticeable). Idk if its like this with all characters, but hopefully yes

EDIT: Btw, the process of copying the strings from one place to another, I automated it by writing a simple C# program that does it nearly instantly. I can share the sources for it and how it works, and even if needed, update it with more functionality, as at the moment it serves just as a small hacky tool that does what needs to be done.

EDIT2: I noticed a bunch of items, very specific ones, use different strings in chinese clients (this includes taiwan, as its chinese aswell).

If we look into our files we find, per example:
"CHN_HEROES_ITEM_NAME_DUALSWORD_SNOWSKIN" "스노우스킨 듀얼소드"
and..
"CHN_NONE_HEROES_ITEM_NAME_DUALSWORD_SNOWSKIN" "스노우스킨 듀얼소드"
and the normal string, which is translated follows as:
"HEROES_ITEM_NAME_DUALSWORD_SNOWSKIN" "Foul Snowpaw Twin Sword"

The result is that ingame the item shows as "스노우스킨 듀얼소드"...

I might take a try at making a search and replace function that will search every CHN_HEROES_ string and use the value from the original one, if I can make this work algorithmically it should make things simpler.

EDIT3:

Oh I forgot to mention, by making everything work more "automatic" we can get automatically generated files based from the current live original files, this means, after there's a new patch that adds more text into the files, we could simply pick the new text file and automatically replace all existing translations into it, while preserving the newer lines intact.

I can talk more specifically how I am managing this with my application if you are interested, and how I think in the later future we can make translations happen so much more easier, faster and without hassle, even when new patches come out.

Oh yes thats a great idea. Especially since all of the other regions have everything in one text file. Korea has each this in its own file. Items in their own file, monsters, quest names, desc, etc.

Once i get home tonight i shall add your link to the opening as well.

Edit: I'm interested in hearing on how you are managing this :)

I've added you right now on skype, we can talk more details there as it's easier, perhaps even call or screenshare so I can show you what I'm doing and what I'm planning to do on this

Cool added you back :D

Most of the Chinese client specific strings (starting with CHN_HEROES) should now be automatically translated by copying their values from the original versions.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

This translation is stable (no texts are missing, even if some are still chinese/korean, which means no blank looking items) and should have much less items with Korean texts (like, p.ex., Foul Snowpaw Twin Swords).

Enjoy! I will continue updating as I improve my translation files and my translation algorithms.

I can release a beta version of it. Tonight (May 23rd) I've been rather busy so the patch is still pretty incomplete but I at least got most of the important things translated except for the main UI elements.

None as of yet. But since you are the first to ask I can see about making this very possible once my work starts freeing up.

Hey there just some few questions, i'm currently playing Vindictus TW so which patch would you recommend me to use? The TW-NA or TW-EU?

Also, does the current TW version is not an XE version?

Thanks in advance!

Job got randomly busy over the past few months and now it's slowed down....not for long however. Back to School events are happening and since i work retail it will pick back up quick. That being said so far the KR patch has been updated. My original patch is still under development so I did the old grab NA's file and added to it from the Test Server.

There is a chance that I will have a new job soon so once I score that my schedule won't be hectic since I will be working from home which means I can adapt regular patch updates in a WAY more timely manner.

As for the Thailand Patch I'm so sorry I haven't had any chance to download the Thailand game to disassemble it and create the patch D: I will try to make time for it this week and attempt to get the client.
