It is not a japan security issue, so its not their fault, just Joymax being stupid. Anyway this is basically useless because all the official servers are connected through an internal local network or their ports are simply close.

The web login is a cool feature, even with the serverfiles it will be hard for a common server owner to run a pserver using the jsro-r files due to that. I didn't know it skipped the game login through.

For avoid the crash I think you have to set your computer locale on japanese (you should be able to see the japanese chars on the client).

nah,I could log in without any problems with my locale set to english :)

well a lot of games do that lately, you basically send a command from your browser to your client. Shouldn't be that hard to emulate

Either way, the cert might be open, but they are not stupid. They have real system administrators, they are running a closed and firewalled network. If it would be that easy

Guys,vsro had same security to,silkroad -r /joymax same securtiy to.And it's all got hacked so dont worry,someone will get files :D
