Nice guide Threadstarter, very nice! For the rest who cant run cabal client properly on vm, i suppose its probably due to the memory/graphic intensiveness of the cabal. Still new to usage for vmware for hacking/multiclient/afk gaming purposes, but ive read quite a number for tuts/guides over this past week. Learned some things from helpful people like the threadstarter here. Thanks again phatal808 :)

A log file is available in. A core file is available in. Please request support and include the contents of the log file and core file.
To collect data to submit to VMware support, select Help > About and click "Collect Support Data". You can also run the "vm-support" script in the Workstation folder directly.
We will respond on the basis of your support entitlement. "

same problem

phatal yeah dual cores give low 3dmark scores sadly, but i have no intentions of switching to a quad or anything else until this blows. currently i've backed all my OCs down to very near stock running only 2.7 on my cpu, as i was experiencing some bluescreens (due to bad creative drivers) and well honestly i didnt need the extra power in the first place so theres no need to strain my rig, that and the 100 degree weather in late spring is high, summer is gonna kill. still a great OC on air.
Why would you suggest to us to use your "sandbox" if it's not something the public can use???

Same here... I don't need the power either. It's a serious overkill. I hadn't checked my vid card since summer and noticed the mofo was up to 91C which before summer maxed at 75. So I'm back to defaults with it as well. I will drop my cpu down some more too. It's a damn hot summer here. :(

So i need 6.0 or 6.5?

Btw, i just want to run 2 bots same time and not that many...

Do u suppose my Laptop can Handle it?:

Dual Core Pentium T2130 @ 1.86GHz 1.87GHz
1GB Ram including Shared Video
80GB of Hard Disk
Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit Operating System

Just wanna know ahead before i do everything..
English not your first language is it?

Let me put it this way.

VMware <= 6.0 = FORGET IT

BTW.. that laptop will not do vmware at all. I would not bother.

estimating another 10mins to reach server choice interface.
estimating another 15-30mins again before reaching the map.

bluescreen of death !

2gig memory
160g hd
winXP sp2
You don't need 1000mb ram to run on your guests. Remember that's 1000mb PER guest. 2 guests and you have used all the ram you have in the machine. 512 is plenty for xp.

Please post spec.s. If you don't have a minimum of 2 gigs ram and a duo core I wouldn't bother trying this.

Cabal surprisingly is very graphics intensive, but looks like ass compared to other games with the same strain or less.

Check your BIOS and make sure VMM is enabled. VMM enables additional capabilities for Virtual Enviroments. This is different from the hyper step threading (or w/e it's called) in BIOS. The VMM should help improve performance.

Ok I got ya. I googled for something similiar to your "sandbox" solution but was unable to find anything. I would love to put my shops in a sandbox and just use the VMware for the bots because this would be a better solution.
