Just wanna ask something,

is it possible to make it so u can still see normals, not with a "." because it makes it harder if u are hunting for lets say +1's the one day and supers the next, because u would have 2 change the item type everytime you want to hunt something. i was usin #11.

with A1's item types, he was able to make it so u saw the names of normals still.

and a quick tip/hint on the strRes.ini are u able to make it so u cant see eg. (Coat) at the end of every item, again A1 was able to take that away.

I agree... this new font makes the "." almost impossible to see. Maybe something else can be used instead of "." something like * or #. Easier to see but still not full names. The best thing about the "." version is that it keeps your screen clear of all the misc stuff. But if you are the kind that wants to sort through everything looking for +1's it sounds like you need to use version 3, 8 or 9 dependoing on how you want it to look. But those should show you normals.

Just noticed, you cant see anything iin shopping mall (#11)

no1 (a bit lame) aswell as changed names add a met/db bell when a eli/sup comes up

no2 is it possible to change name colors so if a refined comes on the ground the writing is blue and super writing red

well i dont know if their even possible but some interesting additions maybe

As far as I know when you edit the itemtype.dat you decrypt it to a basic txt file and from there you just change the alpha/numeric description to what you want. I don't see where you could activate the dong sound or change the color in the itemtype.dat file. Although I'm not 100 pct sure. There are 39 different entries for each item and from what I've seen 8 of them are still unknown as to what they affect.

Will try and fullfil all these requests.

Sorry for all the errors, ive just finished making the converter, and that took me 2 weeks.

@ Hiyoal.... you know how you can edit the range for one handers, is 2 the max you can put in that column? Bows have up to 25. So if I change say.... wands to 3 or 4 will snow go farther? Just wondering if you or anyone else already knows. I guess I can try it and see.

I dont really know...Wands have range of 1 and Ive changed all 1handers range to 1.

Maybe you could check it out and let me know because for the while, ive got a lot to patch up.

i jus downloaded ver 10 w/o the normals and my necklace on my archer disappeared and i cant see any of my tros gears.everything was classified as fixed.i dropped some pots it said fixpancea and almost all the items items i dropped...some of them when i picked them up i couldnt view them in my inv

thats why it's titled "Full + No normals" the no normals means you dont see the name and as a result you don't see them in npc, market, warrehouse or on your guy. Try using one of the other ones if that bothers you.
