Official Patch 5016 Topic (and older client topic)

hey bone i know ur busy and all that but id like to say thanks for posting this as it will help many people out. however i am encountering a problem. i followed all ur steps and then load up the old co client. i then open up the proxy but i get this

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

also when we are editing the xproxy.cfg do we put in the 5016 server ip or the 4356 server ip?

Well, I am a mod. If you don't trust me you shouldn't be here.. because who else would you trust? You have to use a program somewhere to do much here.. A memory bot can get your info too you know :P You can set up any precautions you want. My proxy has no backdoors in it. Anyone in level 2 can verify as I posted my source to it in there.

o.o I have no such function in my proxy. Are you sure that error came from it? Also you have 3 modules loaded and I've only made 2. Take out anything not "OldClient.dll".

sry im not thinking u cannt be trust , but i really dont now much bout how proxies work so i assume everybody can make bad use of it not only a creator, dunno... an as for trust , i say dont trust even ur mother so...:P

Hey bone-you, any idea on how to get sv1.17 to work? I finally got the client going, but sv wont load :(

Never used SV so I can't help you there. All I can do is help you use an older client :P

lol, but is everything put at point now bone?
Like, arent there any errors anymore, and can you load every older client?

I got sv 1.17, and I get it to work (used to dunno how it goes now with that new update) by using CE, opening some files and then just start botting...

EDIT: It worked for me bone... At first I could use the proxy, and log into conquer without dcing... Then I quit co, quit the proxy, opened proxy again, opened a co (already started sv though) and tried to log in... But it d/cs me then

this happens if u have the cotobo over ur old client .. just remove it , that worked for me

well i installed changed ips , run proxy but it still cant login and says server maintance pls relogin...., i did everything ok i was running few proxies in the past like venom and they worked, and yes i have server.dat bypass installed also... any ideas whats wrong? i tried version 4356

maybe thats becouse im on basilisk? all myth servers had changed their ips at 5015 but should it matter?

You have to use your server's ip in the xproxy.cfg otherwise it won't connect to the right login server.

Hey bone-you, sorry to bother again but i got everything up and running now. Even sv is working fine now. Its just kinda laggy, is there any way to optimize the proxy so that it lags less?

bone can u tell me why i disconnect all time ??
i cant play with this old client -.-

for me works fine but imposible to play.
by use any skill i got error with Send error raport/Dont send =/
any explain?
