Do it this way

1. download the file from this post

2. execute it, hit yes, hit ok

3. make sure sandboxie is closed at the moment

4. create a sandboxie shortcut on your desktop of "Sandboxie Control"

5. now when ever you want to run Aion in Sandboxie make sure you always start Sandboxie by yourself with the new shortcut you created, do a rightclick on the shortcut and hit "Run without Admin Rights (UAC)"

6. Create a new fresh sandbox which is not based on the "default sandbox"

7. Drag the Aion Shortcut above the sandbox you just created at the Sandboxie window

8. done

...that better be put in the front page of your downloads so everyone will find it, this shit worked like a charm, people need to take a seat -> I am back to botting 101!!!

Thank goodness I made the complaint otherwise we wouldn't have found this solution.

Its working now, I wasnt dragging the Aion client into Sandboxie I was just right clicking and running in sandbox mode.

So now I have to just drag and drop to launch? Seems easy enough.

Yes it works only by draging the aion shortcut into sandboxie, in that way sandboxie itself launches aion with it's forced non admin privileges

I also did a right click->run and it gave an error, then I used the normal method of drag and drop and it worked.

I'm draggin Aion in sandboxie like there is no tomorrow! IN YOUR FACE NCSOFT

Do you guys have the solution for the DPI scaling while using Sandboxie? Mouse keeps jumping to the right corner of the window when I launch Aion, I have to manually change the DPI system-wide to 100% to fix this issue.

Already went to compatibility mode and set it to System and System (Advanced) but still no luck.

Rightclick on the "Sandboxie Control" shortcut -> Compatibility -> Override high DPI scaling behavior, scaling performed by: Application

And remember to follow the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] above, since sandboxie itself launches Aion then it will be executed with the same DPI settings

Running Aion without UAC is just awesome. :rolleyes:

But still hasn't worked, Sandboxie Aion keeps eating my mouse cursor to the corner of the screen.

Yes these two lines here are at the very top of the script and cap the FPS to 15 to reduce the CPU usage of Aion, specially for those people who run 4-12 clients at the same time

After the update my clients went back to taking 2~3 minutes to upload again, due to xigncode.

I rerun the registry thing and re-did all the steps etc

The difference now is that when I drag and drop the Aion icon in sandboxie (without the UAC checked as always) I still get the notification to allow it to be run, that notification is only shown when you try to run things with administrative rights rights.

Something that didn't happen yesterday when I did the sandboxie trick. I mean I dragged and dropped the Aion icon in sandboxie, checked the one I wanted it to be run in and then I didn't get a windows prompt to allow it to be run, it simply run on itself.

Edit: my clients don't even run anymore in sandboxie with the para bypass at all. I get the notification the xigncode was removed, I get the error that I got detected (a always) and then sandboxie closes my client.

they sure did somethign with this patch
