Joongwon Games has started taking actions against private servers massively.
They're paying specialized agencies to take care of it.
Our PayPal Account has been frozen (which we don't give a fuck about anyway since Project Alpha has no item mall) and also our webhoster has received a DMCA copyright infringement report. Until we've taken measures to better prevent ourselfs we've backed up and removed everything from the webserver.

However, our gameserver is still up and running. If you're having trouble loging in it's due to our hackshield having some issues but it has nothing to do with the DMCA report.

Since our youtube and facebook account have been taken down aswell epvp will be your main source of information for the time being.

Stay tuned.

So the game is working but I seem to have problems with it...Failed to connect to an upgrade server, I think this is the error...I will check back later on at night time.

Gameserver has been shut down.

We're taking a massive downtime, so we can discuss how to approach things, and add some content.

We'll inform you when we're back.

Massive downtime = days? weeks? months?
I understand you can't give an ETA, but can you at least give us an estimation of what you think is reasonable.

I miss the server :p and I just want to know if it's worth waiting for it to come back or just give up on it and thank you for all your hard work and effort you gave us.

That's just my personal opinion, but I guess most of things are doable in 2-3 weeks. Those are things that cannot be helped with.

You don't need to. Everything is safe, and it will stay so. Just wait for us!

When we go down, we'll announce it, we have no reason to lie... We're still willing to put up with the crap to keep PA alive, even more we'll just go rage mode with content/development. I dare say we're taking this whole thing by storm, just wait and see.

I'd say the downtime will last a little bit more than adek said, but it can last less depanding on how fast we can get things done.

Thanks for replying Bogdy and Adek.
I don't mind the wait knowing the server will be back on soon enough and even better than it was.
I didn't meant to push you guys, I know you work hard for us.
But I'm really happy to know I don't have to say farewell !

Thank you, Bog18dy, for the response. I am very happy to hear that the team will continue working on Project Alpha. I've had a lot of fun here. I've enjoyed the progress and improvements that you have made to the game so far. There is much potential from this server, unlike any other private server. I eagerly look forward to the day I can play again, and to the future updates you plan to implement. Thank you for your hard work and good luck getting it back up.
