Yeah something like that, it's just that using safetrade 1 won't allow you to move items in your inventory (source of the dupe/scamming bug)

So you use safetrade 0 by default, and change it to 1 whenever you see it necessary - then turn it back to 0 once the exchange/stalling is complete

//You seem to be covered by the server anyway, so it's ok, dupers/scammers will get banned independent from their status :D

I hope that if someone opens a stall in mode 0 don´t get banned,i guess only if you open and try stupid things,if i open stall normally on mode 0 do i get any issue?

You don't ever HAVE to change your state between 0 and 1. But if you exchange / stall good items, just send the safetrade1 message, and you'll at least be 100% sure that nobody can scam your items.

It's really just for our own safety :) The only thing you have to ask the person you want to exchange with or trade with, is to change his account to safetrade1 too.

What I'll be doing is just using safetrade1 all the time when I'm stalling or doing exchanges that are worth a lot.

If I have to quickly trade an item while grinding, I should be in the default safetrade0 state anyway, as I otherwise can't move items around in my inventory without getting DC, so assuming that everyone else is in safetrade0 mode, it shouldn't be an issue.

You basically can't really go wrong with the system. But for your own safety, make sure to use safetrade1 when trading valuable items.

Yea that system is kinda faulty... maybe apply stalling only with mode 1... would make sense, cuz for instance if person doesnt write if he`s 0 or 1 and i wanna buy something, its quite a gamble...

You will get a dc if you try to buy from a stall wich has another state then yours. Nothing more :)

It isn't. Stalling/Exchanging with different values will grant both users a DC

Well, just ask the person. Generally, all stalls should use mode 1 (as the GM pointed out), and if you exchange people in town, use mode 1 too.

Then, while grinding, have mode 0 turned on :)

Both user (if an exchange/stallbuy fails) will get their gold back.
