Dear community,

We're glad to present you, simply0wn SRO
A server based on the good old times when silkroad's true essence of hand-grinding and having fun with friends was the centre of joy.

The files we're running are JSRO from 2007, they are mostly fixed, but some minor bugs will surely come across our paths, but thanks to the feedback from the users we'll be fixing everything we can :)

Mainly, we're reviving this because we loved the times back then and we rejoice being able to ressurrect those emotions with this server. I know a lot of people share this view with us, and all of them are for sure welcome to join us in this brand-new adventure!

Safe trade - what is it?

Dupe/Scam control - Read first:

Users will get DC if they are trying to dupe + get banned
Users will get DC if they are trying to scam + get banned
Even if users use different safe-trade status, server will protect both from getting scammed
We're saving a log of users that abuse of this method in a wrong way
No items or gold will be lost in a failed transaction

Guide to safe trading - features

Two states, 1 and 0
Used to prevent people from duping/scamming
Working in both stall and exchange methods
How to turn it on:

The safetrade 1 can ONLY be activated in Towns (Near Teleport)
You'll see:

If you are in status 1:

You will get DC if you move an item in your inventory
You will not be able to make Trades inside of a town
You won't be able to exchange/buy from stalls with users using safe trade 0
USE IT ONLY FOR SAFE TRADING and avoid random DC when moving items

If you are in status 0:

You will be able to move items in your inventory without DC
You won't be able to exchange/buy from stalls with users using safe trade 1

Before exchanging/stalling

Ask the other user which status he's using before exchanging (you can both use 0 if you want, you're protected by server anyway)
Follow a stall rule so users know which status you're using.

**Attention**
For an exchange/stall purchase to be successful, both users have to be in the same status (1 or 0)
Always return to safetrade 0 when you finished so you are able to move your items without DC!

FAQ

I get random DC but I am not exchanging or buying from stall - Put safetrade to 0, you tried moving an item with safetrade 1
I got DC while exchanging with another user - Check if both users have the same safetrade status (1-1 or 0-0)
Is it safe to use safetrade 0? - Yes it is, even if you aren't in that mode, server will protect you from possible scams and duping
So, which one I am to use, 1 or 0? - Stay on 0 while doing grinding and normal routine, and use 1 if you're going to exchange or sell something important you're afraid to lose
So, duping and scamming isn't possible anymore? -Nope, even if you don't use safetrade, users who dupe or try to scam are getting punished and the process is reverted so you won't be losing anything
