No matter what you do you MUST use encrypted password if your doing it manually, normally it can be done via PHP script but since there's no account creation via PHP available here you must do it manually, I don't know if you can make an account via the gates.

i opened the dbo.accounts
then i edited new acc

admin
3e8ac049b4cea82fa245995f53bc9f80

thats ACC admin and PW admin

but i cant login.
what im doing wrong?

i used the "rappelz+password" way, then in md5

nothing happends because "sa" its not set as user for db in use ...(auth,arcadia,telecast)

sa proprieties /user maping (set thete for those 3 db sa as user)
how the fk to connect to db if they wont have set "sa" as user?

wrong!... i just did md5 on that password and the md5 would be "a6f6a1fc23206c68d92c6b286573c2f3" ... re-re-re-re-read the guide... by the way try to use the information in the guide first till u get it all working then edit later that way u can find the mistakes easier (less variables = less mistakes) when u get to where we are then u can start editing to your liking, meanwhile use the Link404 pass: Zomg.MD5 account that is posted on the tutorial... Good luck mate!

u have to combine it with ya password

Well,Off-topic post! Well i`ve been wondering through these files for a while and i just thought that some people who arent "directly working" with the server files got theyr own home server running.
So my point was,those people could make a quick step-to-step guide so that every1 else can undertsnad it and stop bothering and spamming the topic with such useless posts. Cause i can say that out of those 70 pages you guys have like 10 pages MAX worth of development posts.
To those who are mainly doing it for fun,think of this and somehow help the others developers to maint this topic mainly development and less Q&A for all sort of newbie things.

Keep up the good work guys,even if the updates come slowly you`ll surely get it up and running soon enough.

I spent about 16 hours setting up and tweaking the files last night. Today I will be working on compiling a list of buffs from Arcadia.dbo.StateResource (unities, HP/MP increases, selfbuffs, cleric buffs, HV buffs, et cetera). You can scale them and play with them yourself if you'd like.

Format
Write all commands in gameserver while your character is in-game.
#add_state("STATE_ID_HERE","LEVEL_OF_BUFF_HERE","D URATION","TARGET")

Example

My Personal Request/Questions
Is there a way to edit strings of NPCs in game? I found a table with 27K Korean strings. Are the English translations hard-coded into the client?

Has anyone had any success with mob spawns? I have found some angels/kentas/boars north of Laksy and Dominatus the Mad outside CoR but the rest of the game is (still) empty -- If anything, that should be one of the top priorities.
