since zszc IS ecsro, i would NEVER pay money on that server. neither i would invest time into the game.
firstly because they run the risk of closing the server again (closed without warning, creating a NEW name, and saying that they are NOT from ecsro=lies,lies,lies)!!
secondly, if they want, they'll just close the server again, and open another one with a new name. this strategy is used to recycle their customers.
new server, new reason to BUY silks ;) ( REMEMBER=== MHTC, ECSRO, ZSZC!!! NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY CLOSE IT!!!!!)

bottom line - ALL SilkRoad Private servers SUCK! because the only thing they're doing it is for the money! nothing else. zszc may do some more events then swsro. but that's only a customer motivation. they're doing it to make the server more attractive=more money.
I recommend you guys not to play on any private server. or at least stop investing so much money on the gameserver. gees...i saw people investing more then 500 bucks a month. for virtual good that isn't even safe.

they got their filthy hands on the server files, make a bunch of money and laugh at you.
i would NOT want these files to get public. you can see what happened with the SEA-Emulator... with the real files the same thing would happen. so NO sharing.. but I'd love it if someone would just host a server with the real files where donations are voluntary. and make some more developing competition.like that people would really have to do something for their money!

at the moment it's easy: you rent a dedicated server, secure it, install a database server, copy the server executables, and create a paypal account. the only thing you have to do is to count the money and give the silks!
the game is hack-proofed! (with stalls/stallnetwork disabled of course)
and besides that, you'll find a LOT of idiots like *removed* who crawl asses and make some events, some stupid wannabe pros applying as mods who manage the community...
kinda slavery or something.
tooo easy to earn the money.
but what if MORE people would have private servers? right...
