GMs are tracking you regarding scam/gold-farming (and selling, you know what I mean, chinese farmers and stuff)
They are watching you over and over till they find some reasons to ban you.

(I read a few statements from an ex-GM and shit like that. He explained, that GMs keep watching players.)


So watch out..
Always tell the ppl you fucked with, that you don't know what happened with the trade window.
Contact them a few days later, tell them that you pay the gold back.
-> Next day you simply have to explain, that someone did a scam-trick on you (not really, but no one knows. So who cares :D). You can't pay the gold back, because someone stole it from your account by using some scam-tricks.

Why doing all this shit?
Simple: You won't get a ticket, it's that easy! Just act like a friendly player that got fucked... bling, you earned some gold! :D

Blizz changed their EULA.
Few months ago, gms didn't care about scammers in W0W.
Hundreds of ppl managed to get thousands of gold by scamming other players -> blizz changed their EULA
-> You can get a 3h-/3days-/permban.
Depends on how often you did it, how often a GM talked to you regarding the scams and so on...


Correct me if something changed (new EULA again? Dunno)

well....as i said, do it on a mule char.

once you start hearing about reporting (usually people say it outloud or to you "give me gold back or your reported!!!")

once you get a few of those, since gms are so busy most of the time.

transfer the shit over to your main or another alt or mule char, delete that char you just scammed with.

i have gotten so many reports and yes like c0ke said, just act like you didnt do anything wrong and when people contact you about it, just say someone is starting a rumor and it's getting old.

people will still bitch, but hey for logging purposes...it covers your ass to an extent
