[Release] CN 1655 Server & Client

narrowed down where the logintools stops working , and can actually get the client working again without replacing it , just trying ways now to stop it, but its looking promising, which means will be able to use the full 1655 client properly, i know alot of you are using 1654 client with the 1655 database/ server, but they are not fully compatible and work differently, yes most of it works fine with the 1654 client , plus the added bonus of certain files being english or translated to english, but for me its not worth losing 3gb of extra content for the translations , so im going to continue to work on this better client to make it stable because its worth it

YES, this is what iv been trying to explain to everyone! Little bit of work and effort and you have some almost flawless files! I also fixed the items not disappearing after some time i will put a screenshot on how to fix it but its because of the region time frame, sadly these files have to run on China time or the items dont disappear after some time!

Yea mine is already set to everything china, my items disappear but they stay a good couple mins, i was hoping to make it like 30 secs to 1 min

does anyone here know how to change file paths with this client ? basically i want to create my own custom interface buttons, but to replace the ones being used would involve knowing the new structure and creating an unpacker, because the latest tpi/tpd unpacker available does unpack data.tpi/tpd but im sure it doesnt unpack everything , because there is many interface dds missing, they are not unpacked in client and they arent in the unpacked files from the tpi/tpd , if they was then i could just replace the dds files with my own, but thats not gonna happen by the looks of it, so is there a file that points to where the certain dds are for the interface , because if there is i can put my custom files in the client and change the path to the files so it uses mine instead of the others its loading

I am currently working on a tpd extractor, I have had significant issue with extracting the 1655 client which I believe it's because the tpi files used are corrupted in some way. I have extracted 85k of the 88k files in c3.tpd and the rest appear to be corrupted. I am unable to extract data.tpd so far and I believe its because of a header mismatch. In data.tpi it says there should be around 17k files but I believe the tpd file used does not match up which is why I cannot extract it properly. I have however fully extracted the current official eo client without any skipped/corrupted files. If the files you are looking for are in the current eo client I can upload them for you just let me know.

edit: I ended up uploading all of the extracted assets from the current official eo client

I get where you're coming from, and I know it can be a bit overwhelming with all the complications involved. But honestly, sharing the source code could really help the community out. The EO PServer section is in a tough spot right now because we only get the .exe files, and without the full source, there’s not much we can do in terms of customization or fixing bugs. There are a lot of skilled developers here who could make a real difference if we had access to the source. I think it could be a step toward revitalizing things for everyone.

yah, having source we can filter those spyware/viruses out., heck even if you share it private so we can work on it, and we will release the one without the virus sable code.

the ones i want to edit are in the data/data2/data3/ tpi tpd , the ingame interface as in the main buttons and the skill bars , they are sadly packed and as you said the latest extractor doesnt extract what it needs , which also means packing it back up will also cause major problems

I am extracting data_1, data_2, data_3, I'll upload when its done. I still cant extract data.tpd but ill work on it when I have some more time.

edit: So of those 3 files it doesnt appear to have extracted any interface related stuff so I assume it's all in data.tpd.

just a quick one , can the msg and npc servers run off native password instead of sha2 ? because i want to change my root user to native for certain reasons , and its currently set as sha2, i know native is widely supported but i thought id ask before i did it

Edit: native works just fine, for anyone that wants to know.
Btw the logintools corruption isnt from an ini file , its from the files in the main folder where the logintools are used, and i also noticed that when you have replaced the files in the main folder with fresh ones from the 1655 client rar file, it does the nd security/guard again when you load up the client with the logintools, so it could possibly be because of the gameguard that is causing these logintools problems

ive spent the past week translating my databases, whenever im not working, and today during my translating i couldnt connect to my databases all of a sudden, then i found the problem, the databases are missing, including my backups and here is why:

i have to pay 850 usd to get it back.

So now ive set up using unique logins and security on the db, plus made my own databases and linked them to the game servers, long but worth it

Ps. Better change your root pw and test pw straight away to prevent them getting entry

Im so sorry!!! There is some s**ty people in this world :mad: i always change those password right away i feel like its something that we need to make sure is being told more often here too!

(I like to keep my backups saved on a external drive that i remove after backup is placed on drive, along with this i also upload it to a cloud, maybe this will help too!)

The hackers love using the AutoPatch server to gain access too! My AutoPatch server is attacked daily, granted it doesn't effect the server i have blocks in place but its a daily occurrence !

This is something new, they "deleted" it? And made backups for you to buy back?

they made sql dumps and deleted the databases afterwards, then made a database with info in and a database number, then in that it says to pay to a certain bitcoin address and then screenshot the payment along with the code they provided and then they give me the download link to my sql dumps

1. Use log file recovery

Navicat will record database operation logs.
Go to "Tools" > "Database Operation Log".
Find the database deletion operation record.
Right-click on the record and select "Restore Selected Transactions".

2. Use data recovery software

If the above method cannot restore the database, you can use third-party data recovery software, such as Recuva or Disk Drill .
Scan the location of the deleted database.
Find the database file and restore it.
