(Im running a local pserver, just for me, for testing)

Can I extract just a signle file (eg: NpcQuest.SData), edit it and then put it back again into the client?
If so, how do I apply the updated file to my client?

The tool makes a file in the Output and Patch folder, what do I do with them?


(i've been searching on forums but didnt find a topic explaining this)

Yes you can export and import individual files. In the main windows click the About menu item, it will explains every feature.

Yes I know I can export single files (i've exported NpcQuest.SData), my question is: how do I put NpcQuest.SData back into data.saf without having to compile all those 20000+ source files again? It takes time to compile back the whole thing, can I just add my changes into a separate file or something?

open the saf with my tool and then find the NpcQuest.sdata file and right click it, then select import. The open file dialog with be shown, you then select the npcquest.sdata file that you want to import.

Updated the program.

Fixed some bugs

Added "Add to patch list" to right click menu. What this allows you to do is add any file to the patch list, then when you're ready you goto the create patch menu then Import Log / patch list, then you can create a patch file with all the files listed there.

you should make it so it imports a whole folder, or multiple files.. instead of single files

cause i accidently deleted a folder.. and well.. about 100 files to single click

Is just me or the tool cant extract the whole data.sah with the extract all command? wont extract more than 23891 files.
