For like a week was passing the post "retro Cabal" but after pressing it i was surprised to see a wall of text... was worth reading! It bring back memories from when i was just getting into cabal (eu) and there were not much Pservers out there first P server i ever played was cabal nation.Don't have as much time as i want for playing but i would really like to try and test the drops since i mainly play cabal for dungeon running.

I would love to try on ur server since I have tried all private server out there, is good to get old school back

We are currently at 33 accounts in total and the last chance to registrate will be before 14th April. After that I won't send out new invitations.

Again I can only apologize for the lack of information I gave you over the last week but I had some serious personal matters which had to be taken care of and possibly won't be able to post any updates until my exams are over.

Please invite me to the Test Phase, i really enjoyed Cabal before Bm3 but i understand why you had to include it. Overall im very excited and cant wait to play again.

Yeah that the main issue, now that your feature & server idea become famous, you can be sure you will be the target of some haters, even if you seems like a good person some owner are jalouse & wont let their players go somwhere else.

So your main priority is to secure it as much as you can egainst cheaters/ddos before the real release.

all i see is a char with the old buffs ( All you need to do is change 1 value on the client side and everything appears on your char )

CA entrance moved to town with shield sign. ( i doubt he means the very old EP2 CA with timed Openings and FFA PvP There )

DT Dungeons are enabled by default. The only problem was the dungeon entry gets deleted each log out but that can be fixed easily.


so far nothing new and i read his features. Nothing brand new sorry. Same as normal EP8 files with just small changes to drops and items.

The only retro in here are the old buff visuals and the CA sign. But thats just 5 min of work.

Every cabal owner looks at other threads and reads if they have something new. But i really dont see anything new and worth it here lol. Just my opinion :D

I felt the same while reading this. But i think the retro owner(thread owner) did very good job with long describtion of thread, which made people missunderstand things :P. At all i didn't see here anything unique/new/oldchool. Of course i wish all the best to all Devs, we need support each other xd

I think the point here is this server focus on a good old time with cabal. Well I have played some p-server, some of them add too many change, that's not even cabal anymore: most of dungeon are useless, player can only farm in few spot, too many new (and weird, imo) stuff, character are unbalance, crafting nearly not exist. All you have to do is farm, get an end-game gear, and nothing much to do but TG. That's kind of boring for me. Some server are actually good, like Elitecabal back then, but it's a low rate server (well I have to play for quite long for Mystic BL 7% amp set). OGN Cabal are good too, but the farming process are so boring (you have to do daily quest for end-game set, and if you want it fast, do it with 6 character a day!). I haven't try on Beast Cabal, because personally I don't like the idea of rebirth/reborn.

I remember when cabal have many feature to explore: dungeon, crafting, quest, hunting. The reason that I play p-server is to enjoy all the feature of the game (which I can't in official server, damn, how long to get a fricking dual-amp Archidium or max-level craft), not to explore some this-is-not-even-cabal things.

One more thing, reading about chronologically releases make me remember the progress I have back then. So I'm really excited to start over again xD.
