It's possible our fix is not setting all the required values. With the client open, can you tell me what your mouse pointer trails are set to? On my own machine it enables it with the lowest possible pointer trail duration which makes it virtually un-noticable.Quote:
Oh, yeah, that's what I meant with my cursor being "fucked up". The client FPS is fine, so I guess the "fix" works, it's just that it looks ridiculously stupid outside of CO with the mouse pointer trails enabled.
I'd really prefer Haydz' method since it's actually a fix rather than a workaround :o.
When the client is closed it should turn off mouse pointer trails again resuming normal display.
I had heard from some people that the hook method wasn't as successful which is why we went with what we're using. I'm more than willing to change over to using that, just trying to investigate all the options :)
