Moderation consists of a variety of things. Maturity, the ability to enforce your sections rules fairly and appropriately, the ability to follow the rules yourself, biased opinions on all private-servers in your section, and so on.

Personally, I think with some work, thndr would be a good candidate. It's just the way your friends come across as a bit rude when I suggest something. Remember, I'm not telling you guys what to do, I'm just pointing things out.

Also, for now, whilst you're waiting, keep your reports high, try to keep gmods up-to-date on shit threads which haven't been moderated in a while (try not to annoy them with too many pm's, though. You should just create a collaboration of threads then send a gmod the list) and then we'll see what happens. Good luck, though.

Thndr is the best for this job because he's mainly the only one who's not a double faced fuck around there. He helps and asks nothing in return.

Hi All!

Maybe a fresh opinion from someone who is fresh to the servers might be called for in this particular case. Been playing Rappelz since E3 and LOVE it! I was away for almost 2 years. Now because of personal reasons retail just isn't my thing so I am eager to have my own personal server to play with just friends and family.
All that being said... obviously EPVP was the place to start to take it upon myself to learn how to do all this. I have spent hours, (much like everyone else I am sure), reading and reading and reading. Looking for "how to's" looking for "fix it's" and such. Now after a few days of all this, the most popular comment in my house was, (no joke); "Thndr said that was how to do it, so it's got to be right... look again!" LOL I have known this name less than a week and already consider his word as gold! His fixes always work; his opinions always are the fastest and cleanest, etc etc...
Now as to comment on other posts in this thread just because I cannot stay quiet on some of them...
First of all in the hundreds of thread posts I have gone through and read, Thndr is probably 90% the voice coming to the rescue. I can honestly say I have never seen a loss of patience, (well maybe a slight irritation once, but come on, 8 times saying the same thing, just how many times does a person have to send you back to the original post), and he never lost temper, was rude or treated anyone like they didn't have the right to ask. Although, other tempers have been seen. As a matter of fact Thndr is always kind, understanding, very knowledgeable and quick to help in any way he can.
I do have to say it really would not have taken me hours upon hours to find the things I needed if the sections were a bit "cleaner" you might say. I would have to disagree on the comment that the section is clean and organized.
New people in here really do have the best view of the situation as we are the ones trying to find what is needed and trust me, after the last few days, it is not as clean or clear as it can be. (There is A LOT of old stuff that just takes up time going through only to find out that you didn't even need to read it to begin with!!!)
...and sorry, but seriously Creationist, there is a difference between suggesting and being completely condescending to someone who clearly knows his business. I feel that, to a noob, YOU are the one coming across as rude… I would think that you, being a co-mod, would be the first to support someone who is helpful and can improve the server.
I found this post BECAUSE I clicked on Thndr’s name, went to his profile just so I could get some possible way to contact him personally to help me understand some things I have struggled with...
So, as a noob, (proud to be ‘cause I am always learning...) ;) I agree with Azriel, Raskim, c1ph3r and others, I would quickly give him my vote for a job that is clearly needed.
Also, I do hope some of what I say is taken to heart by the mod’s in here, because isn’t it us, the players, that should have the loudest voice?

Hello EPVP Section,

I also want to get rid of what. thndr is one of the most active user in the Rappelz Section. Without his aid some P.Server would never become public. I think that whether you are involved in a current P.Server or not, the work includes the'd done here would.
I think like many, I guess that thndr deserves in any case, do and help after all his.

Well I know this thread is really old yet I was encouraged to bump it if I was still interested.

Rappelz and Rappelz Private Server sections are still in need of organization even though the activity of posting is not very high.

Information I had given in the original post is still accurate aside from my age. :)
