Limit thread creation

Epic idea,this really REALLY should be added in

I think its good and it must be added.

1 month old registration, signed for that, because post farming is quite easy. and the advertising section should be wiped if this rule is being applied

One problem: if they need 20 posts to create a thread a lot of the spamming users will spam other threads with useless topics :(

One more addition, we know that there might be some old accounts registered but they haven't really posted at all , so there should be atleast like a 50 or 100 posts requirement + 1 month old enough to post in the advertising section

Yeah,50 posts makes sense,since members can't use the IMG tags unless they have 50 posts.

Why would you advertise a server with no IMG code?

Up! Yeah, its a bit stupid that new users can't post images, but can create threads for advertise.

I agree with this idea, It's probably one of the most needed implements inside the SRO section, but, another thing I would like to add, maybe if you could dis-allow a user to post his thread due to bad grammar, or something similar to that, would also be really good. I can't say how many times I've saw a thread with a well presented title, I click on it and literally it's just 4 paragraphs of illiterate rambling

I totally agree but 1 month isn't good enough IMO.I'd say atleast 3 months and 50/100 posts.

I wouldn't mind having 3 months old requirement, but the post count you suggest is kinda low in my opinion, yes I know I may be saying too much, but just think about it, there are old old accounts that barely have over 50 posts, those can be easily used to advertise, and we actually need a cleaner advertisement section, also if this comes into play, I figure out people will create multiple threads for their friends so there should be a rule that each use has the right to create 1 thread only.

My own account fits into that category,good thing i won't create threads there :P

No matter what the admins decide to do, people will always find a way to create more and more threads.I think the advertising section will still need intense moderation and as many reports as possible to even come close to being clean and pretty.
