Hello. I'm an old user here and I've been helping around, mainly on the Silkroad section, for many years.
Since the serverfiles of Silkroad Online were released, lots of new servers have been appearing, I myself own one.
Anyway, I created this thread for ask the administration to limit the ability of create new threads (at least on the SRO Private section) to users with 1 month or older account, or with more than 20 posts. The reason is simple, while we, the common server owners, obey the rules and post our servers on the specific server posting section, people create threads on the general section EVERY SINGLE DAY, with new created accounts with no posts, for promote their server, and that behavior is never punished. I don't see fair that some servers have more promotion than others just because their admins create new accounts here and post threads here that last for few hours or even some days open until a mod see it and close it (not delete, which I see also a failure, since the server is still advertised).
So in resume, the suggestion is to limit the creation of threads to 1 month old members or limit the creation to users with at least 20 posts or something like that, if not applied on the whole forum, at least on the SRO section.
Thanks for your attention, and have a nice day!

Resumed and updated suggestions:
1. Add a limit when creating threads on the Advertisment section (register-time limit or post count limit)
2. Punish more severly rules infractors
3. Give benefits to community contributors (priority on advertisment, special badges, elite*gold, etc.)
4. Add a plugin for show similar threads when creating a thread on the ask the experts section (for avoid asking the same question 9999 times)
5. Make a must-follow, clean and clear template for the Advertisment section
How this will help?:
1. The limit will avoid the spam of short-life servers or scam servers, will make the section a trust-worth source of information related to active and reliable servers, and overall will improve the quality of the section and his users.
2. By punishing users that break the rules intentionally (creating an account and posting his server on the discussion section for example) we avoid crappy and messy situations where server owners get more than a account ban punishment, for example, making his server not be able to get advertised ever on the advertisment section.
3. People rarely help if nothing is given in exchange, giving rewards for helping people will make the help section a better place. Currently many threads are ignored, I even ignore some that I could perfectly answer because it would take me some time to explain how to fix or do something and in the end for me is not worth it.
4. There are currently lots of duplicated threads on the ask the experts section. Many threads are answered there by posting a link to the previous thread with the solution, showing threads about the same theme when creating a theme can make the user get his problem solved instantly without need to wait for someone to answer or post the link to that thread.
5. Every thread on the Advertisment section has his own structure, having a common template for every server posted there will help the users on finding, understanding and getting the information they want about the server being advertised. If the administrator doesn't follow the template the thread should get deleted and the mod should PM the creator reminding him about the template structure, if the server owner is serious about his server he shouldn't mind taking 3-4 mins filling the template.
That's all for now.
