Yes you must run VMware and insall windows xp on VMware also there in in virtual windows xp install hamatchi.
and when u edit the .ini files add the hamachi ip.
after u run the dekaron server u install hamachi on ur real windows xp and add ur hamachi ip of ur virtual windows xp.
and then run the client and all done :)

LOL! i run w/o vmware on my pc and all is ok.
it is NOT needed to run the server and play at 1 pc

u must run ur SQL server on (local)
it means when u whan to run the SQL server add ur ip addres and press start.
u will use for a user
User: sa
Pass: that what u tiped when u installed SQL server :)

As i can see u are running the server and the client from the same windows u should install VMware and install windows xp on it there u run the SQL server and the dekaron server. from u real windows u run the client of dekaron then it will work fine :)

Ok if u don't use the same PC host the server and to play the game.
Than did u install hamachi on both PC and connect the hamachis between ?

Is there anyway to run the server on windows vista? O.o
Cuz everytime i try to open DekaronServer it crashes......
that's my only problem.

I tryed to use VMware Player but i cant make it work Oo

ok finally i got it working. but only with damn hamachi oO
if i change to the ip of the vm i get some weird "login does not exist" error.
some1 knows why this could be?

no ip changed = cannot connect (of course ;))
ip changed to hamachi = works
ip changed to vm ip = login does not exist oO

@7spil7 doesnt work with vista so far. whats the prob with the vm?

U must use hamachi becouse ur ip is dynamic.
if u have a static ip u don't need hamachi :)

if u cant run on windows vista than install windows XP.
And will work fine.

But remmember u should use VMware and also hamachi.
u won't need hamachi only if u have a static ip.
