I created my private Server but am not Making it public. Because my ip is dynamic and i can't make it public!

Ok so 1. Question how to make an account ?

And number 2:
What to do if you get "Response time exceeded" message when trying to log in (after typing in user name and pw)?

I hope this can be answered as I assume being very close to the goal :D

The goal 1. To create account i will post after 3 hours i will make a video how to create account in Database.
For the goal 2. --->
You will need to add picture here with exact error so i can see whats the problem ok and ty.

I will make the video when i go at home because am now at work. there will be shown how to create account OK :)

Ok this was heppen to me too u should open the data.pak and edit "192.168.5.007" with ur server IP there are a lot of 192.168.5.007 u should all replace with your server IP
Use WinHex for to edit the data.pak
I hope this will help if not pm me so i can help u with other solution. :)

Becouse if u don't edit all 192.168.5.007 to ur server ip ether it won't connect or it will say respons time exceeded.

I would like to request if you could make a video for the whole process .... or start where Sergcool left off , what is to be done after the restoring of the database and changing of all the *ini files . I need a visual reference ... cuz you can write it a million times and I wont follow it as clearly as a video . thx .

I had already changed all of the IP's (winhex doesn't find the old IP any more) so this doesn't help me.

Yes u can but u should give administrator right to the SQL server when u install it :)

U can download the SQL server 2000 from the post where i have add the 3 links. :)

Did u truned off ur firewall ?
If not make it off

or also try to edit private-server.exe indise there are 2 ips that ur should change with ur server ip.

I tried it with firewall off and on...it didn't make a difference...

I already edited all IP's in all config/data/p-server connector and followed the steps in the tutorials one-by-one...

I don't know what else to do :(

Can this have something to do with my ram? I heard you would need 8gb but I only have 2gb ram...is this the reason?
