Nope no luck, Something i just realised is that if i put my ip inside server.dat it dosent even get to the log in window but i get login and password save with 127.0.0.1.


EDIT1: I just tried again but had ip in CSocket.Send(Packets.AuthResponse("MY IP", Key1, Key2)); and in server.dat and it says failed to open server.dat

EDIT2: Ok Obviously ive done something wrong because now i just get Disconnnected with Game Server.

Andrew you need to change that last IP in the MasterSockets.cs. That's why it's locking up. If you look at your login server while you try to login I'll bet you see that IP somewhere when you try to login, right before it tells you the connection timed out. Change that second IP to your localhost IP aswell and it should open up.

Right ive doe something wrong because now im just getting dced b4 it gets to account server. Zehava can i get you on MSN or something because im going bed now and i wanna contact you tommorow

I myself have the server successfully running and able to connect to it on localhost from within my laptop. When I move the server to my desktop to try and make it public it won't run. I have recompiled the source on that computer to see if that would help and no go. The IPs, database names and passwords are the same on both computers. But I"m still getting the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error in the game server. Removing the max and min pool did not resolve the issue.

Thanks in advance for any other suggestions to resolve this problem.

got my server running now... created a test char... i just need one help on to put one npc in TC, just one... if i have the guide on how, i do the rest... then i'll be willing to help out when i get it workin...

i got a nice question which all day im tryin to sort it out...

i change my localhost ip to 192.168.0.187 from 127.0.0.1 ( you know when installing MySQL or Xampp) and the phpadmin MySQL is workin fine...

My questions is, i change the ips on the gameserver and loginserver projects to my ip 192.168.0.187 but i debug i got an error on line30 at DatabaseConnection.cs and also on the client side, on server.dat, i edited the ip address (the server.dat Andy provided here) when i run the program it says Could not read from file server.dat please reinstall the game...

I'm doin this cause i got 8 pc's here at home and my friends wants to play FB...

Anyone has thoughts on this...

Anyway, i just got done the talisman socket progress, in my server, now, you can socket the talismans like on real co :D

Really good source I'm downloading now but now a lot of the servers are gonna be alike unless you add some custom stuff like armour and things like that but anyway thanks
