We tested it on both Windows XP & 7, x86 and x64 architecture. You need to run the launcher as administrator, though. It's needed to check & patch the game mainly.

Can i patch the game manually?

Sadly no... But disabling UAC and DEP and restarting PC after which you run the launcher as admin should do it (ofc if your AV isn't blocking it).

@Macro detected, I think you're not updating from our GG server, did you check the hosts ? Did you replace it with our hosts.file from the PA HELP folder ?

Can someone upload here the modified host file please ?

Look up into Project Alpha 9D>PA9D HELP>hosts.File
I've inserted a lot of useful files into PA9D HELP, maybe you'd want to read the help text file to see what they do, the hosts file is also in that folder.

Cant find such folder.

Do you have our latest client (from patch 21) ?

Do i need to download the client again to patch untill 21 ?

[Status Update] Item Mall & Free to Play

This might not come as a surprise for some, but it will definitely shock others.

After having some internal discussion and knowing how the community was milked on other servers, we have decided that Project Alpha is going to be the first ever FULLY FREE TO PLAY server.

There WILL NOT be any item mall!

Next patches will start building towards that Free to play status by releasing all kinds of IM items as farmable content.

We hope this is good news for everybody, Project Alpha is still what we promised, a 9D SERVER not a BUSINESS to rip people off!
