Manaview Suite

I just logged in and I cant find the addons in the addon options, I cant find it there.

EDIT: I found the addons and they are both on, I went ingame and my B booster button on Manaview is still greyed out, no idea why.

Make sure you have the latest dynasty core installed, or else it won't work...

If you see them in the addons list, then the problem comes from either the addons (unlikely because you are the only one having this issue) or from your game...

Make sure you installed correctly the latest dynasty core and if it doesn't work, give me a screen shot of the addons list, your addons folder and what is inside your booster folder.

I installed the dynasty core that was on your front page. Still greyed out.

Really strange... Can you give me the screenshots?

Actually my dynasty interface looks exactly the same as the picture you have for dynasty core. With the b on the right greyed out.

Yeah I get it, but I need some screenshots to see if everything's ok. I need a screenshot of your addons screen in WoW where you activate them, I need a screenshot of your addons folder as well as in one of the booster addons.

Im kind of having a similar problem. The button is grayed out but I do get the pop up box for selecting a zone and then a quest list.
I can't get the guid to show and if I close the box I have to log out/in for it to pop back up. It's also stuck on a quest ive completed.
I have the most recent stuff installed, and on my addon screen out of game it shows up fine, but in-game Its not on the addon list so Im not able to configure it?

Strange, very strange... I can't help you more than that... Try to clean your WTF folder...

I don't use Booster so I don't really know how to use it... I recommend using Zygor's guide or Dugi's guide shared by Whoknowsit.

Did you try clicking on the gear settings on the booster windows?

I did, it shows a blank box when I click it- I added it to the album - sorry I was having trouble uploading pics and getting the link URL to work so I just pasted the direct link to the public album.

Strange, try to clear your WTF folder. Watch out, it resets all your configs!

do you have an image link or know where I can get a written/visual of how the instal directory should look?
for the 4 booster folders, I noticed the faction ones have sub directories so mine looks like this:
1.Dynasty Core
A. Componets
a1. DunastyArrow (wich is working for me in this sub-D)
a2. Guide (Not working
a3. MapMarker (not working
a4. TalenHelper (working)
B. Libs
C. Media


A. Booster


A. Booster Alliance
a1. Routes

A. Booster Horde
a1. Routes

I havent tried turning all other addons off yet.
When I get a little time Im going to go onto an alt that hasnt started anything- disable all other addons and see what happens. If it still doesn't work I'll delete the WTF

I figured I might as well do some testing now, so here are some results with deleting ALL other addons and ONLY having
Dynasty Booster
DynastyBoosterAlliance
DynastyBoosterHorde
DynastyCore
DynastyEdge
DynastyImpulse
DynastyTycoon
DynastyTycoonContent

Test 1- Deleted all addons only blizz and Dynasty present

Toon Select Screen shows all addons

In-game
Booster Button still grayed out
List shows
Options screen is blank

Test 2- Same as one but select "load out of date addons" (Though none show as out of date)
Results were identicl to test 1


Test 3
Place Faction folders inside of DynastyBooster Folder
Same results as test 1


Test 4 Download and Install Trial version
After I installed it, (leaving the others in the folder but disabled) Everything was still the same as test 1. Gray button and blank options-

Test 5 Deleted Everything BUT the trial version (files were created 11/13/14 @ 9:31pm)
Dynasty Booster Trial
Dynasty Booster Alliance Trial
Dynasty Booster Horde Trial

Still the same problem

At this point it has to be either the WTF or the addon itself (unless a newer version has been published since Thursday night) But the addon isnt flagging as out of date and I'm pretty sure thats the same create timestamp as the full version.


Test 6 Delete WTF folder leaving only the trial versions installed-
The upside is I log in crazy fast- but it didnt change the addon behavior
Still same results as test 1

Test 7/Final- Deleting the Trial versions and installing standard version
Still the same issue.


Is anyone out there using the Booster addon willing to post some screen caps of your directory?

Its really odd that its working just fine for some people and not others. with the WTF and all other addons gone, you'd think it would've worked right.

Ok sooooo I looked into my folders and everything is ok except your Booster folder. Normally, you should have a folder in there named "talents" besides Booster.lua, etc... Make sure you have that ;)

That is really REALLY strange... I don't have any answers on that... Everything should be fine though... What we can try to do is that I'll look if on my account, my files work. If they do, I'll put them online and give you the link so that you can try it out.

Ok I tried it out with the latest version and I have the same thing as you do, Booster is greyed out. But, you can still access the guides through the panel. To select the guide, you need to use the icon at the right of the gear. THis will bring you to the guides. To go back a folder, you need to click on the .. (first choice).

If you finished a quest and it is blocked, you need to click on the > > icon, at the right of the Menu icon (only if you have a guide launched.

Maybe - But maybe - it's a problem at my end. Later this day, i'll make sure, that the packages we provide are complete.
