it doesnt make that much difference.

more str > more hp, bigger wep attack dmg, less nuke dmg
less str > less hp, less wep dmg, bigger nuke dmg.

still mostly you will survive only with snow shield on so it doesnt really matter that much.

If you stay pure than switch to s/s if you wanna be a spear nuker you have to have +6 sos set or something, or just add atleast 15 lvls of str, that's something between 6:1 and 7:1 (6:1 = 17 lvls of str///7:1 13 lvls of str)
