If I recall right Monster holds mech ids and such and Monsters the spawns... but not sure though I`m not at the database

I don't see what big of a problem this is.
It didn't cause any hugely negative effect on the community, hell, most servers are STILL 5017, I see very few 5095 servers yet.

Sure, the source was released and I freely distributed the new encryptions, but so did Sparkie, minus a few of the steps, and a little editing.

You just watch hundreds spring up, and if for a second you think they're going to give you credits, your seriously mistaken. I already know of many people who are using your source purely for the encryption. I may not have cracked the Crypto completely myself but i sure as hell had nothing done for me other than the info i received from sparkie over msn and the epvp thread. The fact that people have just being given it is just pathetic.

People were given the original conquer encryption.
People have been given the warlords encryption,
the EU encryption. Yet you only get mad because of Co's newest encryption. The idea behind private servers is that things need to move forward consistently. Look at ArcEmu(for wow) which is a totally open-source, completely updated server. If you want to talk about too much given away for free, I'd look at that, not CoEmu.

Sparkie released it in a entirely diffent way. He distributed it so the end user had to work to get past patch 5017. So sparkie didn't do the same. You basically just gave them it. With nothing hardcore to do LOL. Nice all they need to do is c&p from lotf and they are done ... Sparkie may of helped me during the encryption cracking stage. However me and haydz did everything else. I just think it was uncalled for, therefore you lost my respect.

Sparkie literally released EVERYTHING people needed, you put it all into one file, change some NUMBERS, and you're good to go.
You'll have to do more work getting the encryption I released to work with LOTF, which is why you haven't seen ANYONE do it so far, because it's a waste of time.

This wasn't uncalled for, if you had had input into the decision, sure, maybe then it was uncalled for, but what I do with what I created cannot be labeled 'uncalled for' because it technically is doing nothing wrong.
