For those who still don't know how to use the Resource Tool:
1. Download it : [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
2. Unwrap it and open the Tool as Admin
3. Settings, select the S4League Folder (normally C:\AeriaGames\S4League)
4. Go to "File" and press "Load", You will see some folders.
5. Search for the File you want to replace (weapon_plasmasword.lua for example, if you downloaded a modded PS)
6. Rightclick the file and Save it somewhere, where you can find it, it's the original File, so i strongly recommend you to create a new folder for them on the desktop.
7. When it's saved, rightclick the file again and click "Replace".
8. Double click the edited file and it's replaced, go to "File" and press "save" and you're done.
9. Close RT, start S4 and HF.
10. Give Thanks to creators if the File Works.

Yes, I'm having the same problem of saving -> "invalid path". It usually works, but sometimes it doesn't. It seems to depend on the file: if I try to save _eu_combination_info.x7, it fails no matter where resource.s4hd and the destination folder are located, and no matter whether I run as admin or not. But if I overwrite _eu_combination first and then save it, it works. And I remember being able to save _eu_combination before, so it's not consistently reproducible, and most of the other files work too.

No this isnt helpfull. I have the same problem and because I have opened resource.s4hd with editor or another program. Reinstall your pc and don't open resource.s4hd.

Or in your case E:\S4League !

It's a damn what you did. You can open the Ressource.s4HD as many times as you want. But who then really edited manually, is own fault.

Well first, you needa open the resource tool as ADMIN.
Then, you needa make sure there's a folder called "_resources" in the same location as "resource.s4hd"

If this doesn't work, then the "_resources" folder is probably missing some files.
That means you needa REINSTALL S4 League.
