NFSW private server project

NFS World is so special to me, I have so much memories and friendships in every street of this game.

I live with an hope that some day this project will be good enough to simulate the game and someone will make a private server with 1000's of players so we can play it again just like before.

Special thanks to Berkay and Nilzao for their hard work.
My heart starts to bump every time I see a new feature that is working and reminds me the good old days in this game.

Me too man. I feel so sad everytime I see a video of NFS World when it was online. Ahh the Facebook group too. Miss the days when I was scrolling through the page viewing strangers' cars and reading posts. That was a great time. I hope some day these things will come back :)

What kind of trouble?

Got source?
Got jdk8?
Got maven 3?
Got mysql 5?
Imported sql scripts?
Got openfire?
Modded openfire stuff and settings?
Compiled git source?
Started the compiled git source?

To make a tutorial, need to write a lot of steps for each question.

Some ppl did it just with the actual readme.

Thanks for that but i don't think they will help us. Not because they don't want to, more like they are not allowed to.

Rather doubts that they reveal their "know how".
It binds to the Copyright, in my opinion even it does not respond.

Quite a good thing that would have made if they reveal their source code from NFSW, which is impossible.

Excuse me, this project is still in the works? I may missed something, so I'm just asking :)

Hey, seeing that all of you have succeeded in doing this private server thingy, can somebody please make a video so that a noob like me can do the private server too..

Seerver woking with a little synch problem, but it works perfectly: After 3 races we need to restart the server for fix the synch problem. in this video is the 4 race without restarting, that's why the synch problem.

You don't need to build it. There is a easy-to-use version:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

If you can't compile using just readme, will be useless follow instructions (or video) to build it.
