FFXIV Crafter

Make sure you set your Crafting / Gathering hot key to G in FFXI Keyboard Config.

Ok well now that the hot key is set to G it just goes into the crafting window but then I get that same error again.

Before it was not going into crafting window

I want to craft with my main crafting weapon. I have craft number at 2, craft spot at 0, number of quests at 0 and nothing else clicked

I set craft spot at 1 for the 1st recipe. Do you get a dialog box that pops up asking you if you'd really like to craft 2 items?

The OP has a set of instructions for getting the bot to work, can you verify that your bot uses the offsets in the OP too? To do this, simply observe your character name in the title of the bot or hit the debug tab and verify the offsets are correct.

The crafting bot will stop working after the update until someone posts the newest offsets, or I make the corrections required if crafting is further modified.

1. when I have 2 for number to craft and 1 for crafting spot and nothing else I do not get a dialog box, all my character does is go into crafting mode and then I get that error.

2.When I click on the debug tab I get lots of different numbers in the three slots that come up for target,character name,widget header.

3. What does OP stand for and where are these instructions you are talking about.

Ok I read that OP and now the debug lines are Character Name: F08AF8 Target ID:EB7E8C and Widget Header:F310A8 and also I have craft number at 2 and craft spot at one. I am still getting that same error.

note, I am on windows 7 and 64 bit

Yes, I've used it. It runs fine for hrs while I do stuff around the house. The only thing that I can think of that you might be doing wrong is the offsets. There should be a file called 'CrafterConfig' the last three lines in there should look like this:

27=F310A8
28=EB7E8C
29=F08AF8


Note, you'll only be able to use this bot till maintenance starts today (Weds 25th). Then the bot will stop working until someone finds the new offsets.

Ok, so I got it to work and it worked for a while. Then I had to close ffxiv and I reopened it and reopened the bot program and now I am getting that error again and I am doing everything the same o.O That's to bad it not going to work later today.

PS. how long is it usually after a patch does the bot get fixed?

Depends on what is in the update, if its a new mechanic to the crafting (not likely until 2.0) it would take longer. But now when its memory it takes 30min to 48hours depending on Cooleko or someone else have the time to search for the memory

Ok thanks for getting back to me NameB and also I fixed the problem i was having! All I had to do was restart ffxiv when ever I get disconnected from ffxiv because my internet randomly stops for like 2 sec every so often >.>''

I just reviewed the Update during work, the changes to abilities and standard/rapid/careful are extensive, This update will not be just a quick offset update. I encourage the community as a whole to post their experiences with the new abilities, as well as the most efficient way to craft.

I will if possible update the offsets only, and then once I have had sufficient time to learn how crafting and abilities are working, I will reprogram the bot to use them efficiently again. Please allow a few days for this update to come.

bot is scanning for standard 3 times then using rapid synth, has done it for 50 synths now where it spams rapid in place of standard, i know update is in a cpl hours but maybe its something u can look into to so the new one wont do it, i was using it yesterday just fine with no fails or rapids, this morning it started doing this, then i updated with the new one u posted and it still does it

A few have mentioned this occurring, I crafted from 20-43 on the latest edition without seeing this occur (but I didnt watch every single synth) Can you post a larger protion of the debug text? what you pasted above just shows me the bot detected (Wait, Careful, Rapid) but not what the bot was thinking before or after the detection/selection.

cant anymore i never saved it, is there a way to recall the log?
