Good Job on Update!! :DD
+1 Karma for you!

Also I don't get the error I was getting from the one you had me test!
Nice now I can stop using mine.

One question though.
Are you going to have to update if they change the 3DSimpleObj.ini file?

If they change the arrows value then yeah the program will need to be updated, case of going through all the values to find which removes the arrows again lol.

Patch 4336 hasnt affected this though - everything still works cool :)

And ty for the karma :)

Hey mwaha, Im testing your little program out right now. Off the bat I must say I love the clean, easy-to-use/understand interface.

Problems:

- COeRR v1.2 does not appear on the taskbar.
- Also, it cannot be alt-tabbed into the background.

Besides this, it is wonderfully clean and neat to use. Possibly my favorite effects remover so far and disabling arrows is a huge plus. (Yours was nice too, a1blaster ;) )

In theory, is it possible to disable character movement animations in tg as well?

Yeah, i had to remove this to clear the form border so the new interface didnt look messy, im working on a work around for this on the next update :)

Edit - Well ive sorted this lil issue now was easy as just switching an option i forgot was there lol, theres a couple more things i want to do before i release the update, wont be long with it though :)

Works nicely for me also (ty :) ) but i cant restore the effects.. :( any1 have the original files
so i could replace them if it works for the problem?
01/12/2007 18:50 mwaha#39
hmm if it can remove your effects it should easily restore them, are you sure you restarted your conquer client after restoring them?

the only way it cant restore the files after a sucessful removal is if you delete cmdbutton.ini from the ini directory which will cause the program to not reconise that you have removed the effects and then clicking on remove effects which will rewrite the backup files with an empty ini and the edited file for removal of arrows.

anyhow.. here are the original files.. just stick them into your ini directory of the conquer install

although i dont understand why it wont restore

Edit - taking the above example into consideration in the next update i will make it so if the backup files already exist then not to re-create them so even if the ini is accidently deleted it wont overwrite the backups with an empty file

You could also just check the filesize of the .ini to check if it's the empty one or original and enable/disable your remove and restore buttons accordingly.
