Ok guys this is my first ever program made for conqueronline, i know that theres many effect removal tools out there but I thought it would be a good start.

It works with patch 4331+.
Also tested with the most recent patch 4338, all works fine.

Karma pending on how much I actually use it and how it develops, needs to show up on alt tab when not on top, option to change the default folder and for it to check for the 3deffectsinfo.ini and have the remove effects grayed out if someone closes it out or, heaven forbid, if the pc crashes. A simpler way would be to just make a 3deffects.txt and mention it as an emergency backup file when they exit it the prog.

Oh yeah, i hexed the file cause you was a new poster just to double check and i didnt like the one word so i changed it to muck :p

why make it so in-userfriendly,no offence, but you can let the users put the program in their conquer folder
and use App.Path to get the directory where your program is in, then it will always work for everyone.
But its nice it can restore the effects.
01/04/2007 19:29 GrimReaper91#10
Doesent work for me even if my conquer is in C:/Program files/Conquer2.0
*Edit it just removed my effects permanently... and it wont restore em ... kinda sucky

yeah, it should place an ini called cmdbutton.ini into your conquer ini folder to determine wether or not the effects have been restored, so if your computer does crash then even with it loading the program loaded up the remove effects should be grayed out and restore effects enabled.

lol @ the word

yeah, ive worked on it a little it now asks where the users conquer 2.0 directory path is and stores the info in a ini file for future use, maybe just making it so the program can be put into the ini folder would be better.. as i say its my first attempt at conquer programming so all part of the learning curve :)

ill put this release up soon
