Could some one tell me what exact client i will need for this?
Is it 5290 or 5293?

I think 5290-5292 works.

5301 works with this source. This source has a CPU problem though... that's probably why it was abandoned.

They didn't change the crypto or anything for like 10patches?

crypto is RARELY changed.
Lets see... it's been changed ONCE at 5018.
Offsets change fairly regularly but seeing as this is a base, none of those packets are coded anyways.
So basically this will only stop working on current tq patch when tq changes the auth sequence or the offsets for the first 4-5 packets coded on the server or they change encryption.

....... it uses the latest tq client available...
co.91.com
Download it directly from their website and then use the loader to connect to your hamachi/external ip (127.0.0.1 will NOT work, it will crash the client)
