Lol, well... if your motivation is to help people then you are always welcome on my server (talking to everyone). As I said, I might not be the best coder but I'm planning on adding a lot of cool new features and I'd love to see some of you guys on New Dawn.

If you'd like to beta test, I have room still - I'm using hamachi until I'm done with the server but my laptop is very fast. Every time I go to speedtest.net and breaks the scale and goes up to 200 then fluctuates around 125.

Also, just some advise Decker, if you weren't meant to code then maybe you should try something else. When I didn't code, I used to photoshop for private servers. Maybe you'd be better at just playing servers and participating on the forums to make them better.

Well "not caring if it fails" isn't really motivating yourself... why are you making a server in the first place? If you're into coding then that should be your motivation: to create a bugless CO. But there's so many things you can do with private servers. If you want to get better at web design (your signature) then maybe you can create websites for private servers. If you ever need help on web design, you can always add me. =]

I'm saying that he shouldn't be trying to succeed in the fear of failing- he should be trying to accomplish something more than just coding. That's why I made this thread. I think that the community should have a set motivation.

This is not a failed thread. If anything you're making it worse by attempting to close it and feeding the flame.

I have no motivation, that's why I quit making private servers.
