while it is possible to get the title without the using of range in any sort, nowadays i would say that is unreal. allow me to direct you to a link that will destroy your thinking:Quote:

Can anyone explain to me this: How well will rF ranged work against an army of players coming at you? Especially when some of them are elves with mounted archery and some are humans with arrow revolver and many are r5+ ranged.
Sure, if I had the hack, I'd be able to pin down one or two players. But I'd die before I could kill either.
Yes, we all have seen the hack and I'll pretend I don't know of it since:
1) Most of the players that accuse me of using it are obviously using it themselves as they can aim faster than me (I've tested it. I move when I aim cus if I spam r1 ranged without moving, it is impossible to use SoL properly each time, I will miss after 5~10 shots even with no lag.))
2) I don't even want to acknowledge the existence of a broken mod like that. It just isn't fun.
Honestly, in GB, I won't use ranged where I get maybe 1-3 random kills per death. Instead, I'll just melee. I can kill them quickly with melee and I like it that way. Why range when I can just run up, Kill 5-10 players, 1 of them being a flag and then get killed to teleport to a different area and hunt down a new flag. 1-3 randoms that come into your area and hopefully don't kill you first for between 5-150 points or 5-10 players in a group where you'll get between 25-500 points.
I'll stick to my melee. But honestly, it is tiring to explain it to every nub that can't tell the difference between SoL with r1, SoG (not as useful above r5 ranged for humans or r2 for elves), and a hack... Or who pretend to not know.
It is annoying cus when people read that statement, they think "Players with winner of the guild battle title have to hack to get the title."
