i came here today, to speak for the rich and discriminate against the poor. (joking :rolleyes:)

recently someone posted the range 100% standard.dll modification and its getting out of hand. its affecting the server population *pwning skills* rapidly, regardless if file is a keylogger or not, its function brings dramatic changes immediately and overtime.

i've marked some notices of change in behavior on forums and in-game of this range hack being released:

A bugle was voiced across tarlach server, stating that someone has admitted to range hack from this _____ guild.

I've noticed someone calling this file a keylogger. here are the effects of having keylogger involved:

population+keylogger=hacked majority(?)

increasing duels found in dunbarton. apparently most of these duels involved a 100-300 cp noob; an account made to humiliate prodigies and later stating they do not hack.

increasing amounts of valuable items. these items are highly priced by market; such as EXJ 3, AR 8, AR 10, FB 10, and IS 2. it is suggested that the range modification helped these 'leechers' with dungeoning and ultimately downgraded the price of valuable items.

Guild battle. definitely. no doubt the top player will be a range hacker. recently if i'm not wrong or blind, i saw someone with the 'winner of the guild battle' title in tarlach. I viewed his equips, and it does not seem to match with the one i know would have deserves such a title. A spirit LLB with 68 max attack- all equips were fox, no accessories (possibility it might not be his real equips). my theory: he used his spirit LLB and ranged hack everyone on sight.

many high ranked (moderators included) from across the forums call this a keylogger, while others call this clean.

MY CONCLUSION:

this range hack is a serious high leveled endeavor used by amongst people of all kind, may include the strongest, to fight against enemies for an advantage.
people who mod report others who mod, sadly. that is not cool. we work as a team! (kill everyone that leeches range hack :D). As for different viewpoints on whether this file is clean or not, it does show three important things (assuming what they say is true)

1) moderator call this file clean + another moderator call this file keylogger = the file is clean and the moderator who calls this file keylogger does not want people to leech it.

2) moderator call this file keylogger + another moderator call this file keylogger = it is a keylogger. do not leech from it.

3) moderator call this file clean + another moderator call this file clean = influences leechers to download the file and yield from it.

as far as my logic goes, i don't wanna think too deep so i'll say a moderator amongst this forum wants this file removed from public but does not attempt to do it since it is against a will.

my final conclusion : we as men, should step up with honor, to annihilate the anonymous leechers and bring an end to this dark age!!!:handsdown:

accurate sources :

the tarlach economy sources are extremely visible online; anyone can notice such changes. bugle happened on jan 24 EST, i believe. guild battle is shown by a popular youtube video mentioned very long time ago, and around this time period is when the leaking is spreading rapidly.

nexon may catch up on this more accelerated.

Baol Dungeon is not good experience. Having a range mod alone won't help you kill those monsters easily. One of the monster there is immune to range.

You don't even need mods to farm those pages easily nowadays...

If you want to blame on cheaper pages, you should blame Nexon and their Spring Monkeys. They are spitting out complete Shining Karu Statues so easily.

AR10 is always common when someone does G3 Final. AR8 and FB10 rates have still been the same. People can solo these dungeons easily without the mods.

Also, because of the mods, FB10 page have gone up quite a bit through.

Although more pages being sold doesn't ruin the economy, it just means lower price for pages, which is good for buyers.

the spring monkeys are nexon's deal. the one that does the dungeons however, is our deal (or the one who publicly release this mod) and we're talking about the specific ones.

umm.. on tarlach server, AR 8 rate went up quite a bit. (1.5m default ->1m) everyday for the last week there is atleast 2 people selling AR 8 on party board.

lowers the price for pages: lowers the income for sellers.

all i'm saying is, this mod enables n00bs to efficiently do these money dungeons more easily/less time wasting, resulting a page dropped, and stocking up on the markets.

Ego max with 65? Um Sorry? But that's still above the normal 50...

i do not have time for these complaints. the range should have stayed underground. however its not. suck it up and deal with it like the rest of us.
